Have you read the comment Liberal Actor Ed Asner made when asked why the Hollywood Elite is not protesting Obama going to war like they did when Bush went to war?  Here's the history of the issue.  

In 2003, ahead of a U.S. attack on Iraq, a rabid anti-war movement in Hollywood included a TV commercial starring Martin Sheen and Sean Penn visiting Baghdad. There were online petitions signed by Ed Asner.  Letters to President George W. Bush pleading for peace were signed by Matt Damon, Tim Robbins, Barbra Streisand and Alec Baldwin.  Former M*A*S*H star Mike Farrell fronted multiple press conferences where celebrities denounced war. In interviews, Janeane Garofalo stopped identifying herself as an actor — she preferred to be called a member of the U.S. anti-war movement.  Throughout the Iraq and Afghanistan wars the entertainment industry blasted Bush calling him all kinds of ugly names for going to war with Iraq.  Where are they now?  

Ed Asner says the Hollywood Anti-War Left Won’t Protest Syria to Avoid Feeling “Anti-Black.”  They're afraid of being called "racists," something Obama opponents have been called for 6 years.  

For the Hollywood Elite, The Black President gets a free pass. 

OBAMA COMPLICIT IN DEATH OF NAVY SEAL TEAM 6 MEMBERS

According to Glenn Beck, tomorrow we will hear from the families of the Seal Team 6 members who died in a helicopter crash a few months after Bin Laden was killed.  At the time this happened I wondered if Obama and Biden's big mouth bragging about the fact that the Navy Seal Team 6 was responsible for finding and eliminating Bin Laden would have a horrific consequence, and so it did.  Two months later a helicopter carrying 23+ members of Seal Team 6 was shot out of the sky, and everyone died. I wondered at the time, how did the aggressors know where that specific helicopter would be?  Inside information possibly?  Did Obama and Biden have anything to do with it because they could not keep their mouths shut?  They had to brag about how well Navy Seal Team 6 did their job?  And now it appears that the families of the fallen will assert that the Afghanis on the helicopter were not vetted and were allowed to fly with the Seal Team 6 members.   We know how the Afghan army has murdered American solders in Afghanistan, so now the question is, did the Afghanistan soldiers on board the helicopter sabotage the flight by informing their ground forces where the helicopter would be flying?  Our government thinks we can trust Afghani soldiers.  That's part of Obama's politically correct outreach program, and it cost us dearly.

Tomorrow the families of these brave dead Americans are going to hold a press conference to expose the truth as they know it.  They will talk about how harmful Obama's exposure was to Seal Team 6.  They will talk about the fact that at their funerals a Muslim cleric was invited to speak.  Apparently during the speech the Cleric disparaged the dead members of Seal Team 6 in Arabic by "damning them as infidels to Allah."    The hidden curse, if you will.

Be sure to watch the news for any reports on this subject.  Should generate interesting conversation, if you can have a conversation with Obama backers who believe he is God.

OBAMA'S PLAN? BORROW MORE!

While in Pittsburgh on a campaign trip Obama pointed out that the post-9/11 wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were paid for with borrowed money. He blasted the spending stating "We had put two wars on a credit card, taking a surplus and turned it into a deficit. All of it culminated in the worst financial crisis we've seen in our lifetimes."

All well and good, and I agree with Obama that spending borrowed money for any reason is unwise. Spending borrowed money is responsible for our almost six trillion dollar debt, much of which is due to Obama’s uncontrolled spending in the last three years.

So what does our president want to do with the borrowed money now that the wars are winding down? Oh, something so profoundly smart only someone with his intelligence level would think of it. He says he would use the borrowed money for both deficit reduction and infrastructure improvements. “Let’s take half of that money we’re saving on war and use it to pay down the deficit. Let’s take the other half and do some nation building here at home.”

The deficit for this year alone is $131.7 billion. Since 40% of that is borrowed money that means $52.68 billion dollars of money spent on deficit reduction and infrastructure would be borrowed money. Can he be that stupid? He wants to borrow more money to apply to the deficit, 40% of which is already borrowed? What does he think causes deficits?

Obama is like the person who waits for the annual sale that is 15% off so they can charge twice their monthly income to a credit card that charges an interest rate of 27.2%. He’s using a credit card to pay a credit card bill. No wonder he hasn’t gotten a budget through the Senate for 3 years. He doesn’t know how to add. He doesn’t understand that a Negative plus a Negative is always a Negative.

Obama has admitted to smoking dope and using cocaine while in college. That might explain his complete and utter lack of brainpower.  Here's the video, if you can stomach it.

Obama says to big business, bring back the jobs from India and China. And what does he do? He outsources to Brazil –again. He must like Brazil, maybe it’s a great vacation place (which O & M are fond of) because a year or so ago he gave Brazil billions of dollars to drill for oil in the Gulf of Mexico, after he shut down our oil rigs in the same area, and then he proudly announced to Brazil that we would be their best customer. Oh, job creation, what an admirable goal.

And now this week the Obama administration has done it again. Obama told U.S. owned Hawker Beechcraft that they are excluded from bidding on the US Air Force contract for a light attack aircraft to be used to train Afghanistan’s pilots. Yes, that's EXCLUDED, NOT ALLOWED TO BID.  That leaves Embraer, a Brazilian owned aircraft company, as the recipient of this very lucrative deal. How much U.S. taxpayer money is going to Brazil? Oh, about a cool one billion dollars.


What a triple slap in the face of American workers. We need jobs, Barry. Our economy needs the infusion of the money these workers would spend here. And what about our security, Barry? Why are you giving a DEFENSE contract to Brazil, a foreign owned company? You show up on TV with your numerous teleprompters and rag on the Republicans for not passing your “jobs” bills and stating it’s their fault, they are stopping your “jobs” program. And then you turn around and kill jobs with the wave of your hand and the scratch of your pen.

You want to force companies to repatriate billions of overseas dollars. You want to raise taxes so you can spend billions more on stimulus that doesn’t stimulate anything except the pockets of your Socialist Democratic donors. But you don’t have enough brains to award an American defense contract to an American defense company.


There’s lots of stupidity to go around in the Obama administration, but this is not just a colossally ignorant decision. It’s a perfect example of Obama’s Chicago-style political payback with a billion of your dollars. Because guess who owns part of Embraer? Yes, Obama’s socialist fund-raising buddy, George Soros.


The constant payback scams evident in the Obama administration are bad enough, but this biggie is at the expense of our national security.


Did the main stream mess cover this outrageous security issue? Not much. They are too busy covering Obama’s re-election campaign, again following him around like little puppy dogs waiting for a pat on the head, their tongues hanging out, drool dribbling, tail wagging, and urinating on the floor.


How much more damage can Barry do in the next 14 months? Too much, I fear. But maybe, just maybe, the Tea Party people in Congress can shut him down until he’s kicked out of office. I sure hope so. Of course, we the Taxpayer will be supporting Barry and Michelle for the rest of their lives. No way for us to get out of that.

I was sent a document containing the following presidential quotes. These words tell a powerful story that I wanted to share with you. Both of these speeches have been recorded for historical purposes and will likely show up in an American History curriculum. Two men - two American presidents - two vastly different opinions of their own importance.

GEORGE W. BUSH SPEECH AFTER CAPTURE OF SADDAM HUSSEIN:

"The success of yesterday's mission is a tribute to our men and women now serving in Iraq . The operation was based on the superb work of intelligence analysts who found the dictator's footprints in a vast country. The operation was carried out with skill and precision by a brave fighting force. Our servicemen and women and our coalition allies have faced many dangers in the hunt for members of the fallen regime, and in their effort to bring hope and freedom to the Iraqi people. Their work continues, and so do the risks. Today, on behalf of the nation, I thank the members of our Armed Forces and I congratulate 'them."


BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA SPEECH, SUNDAY, MAY 1, 2011, AFTER CAPTURE OF USAMA BIN LADEN:

"And so shortly after taking office, I directed Leon Panetta, the director of the CIA, to make the killing or capture of bin Laden the top priority of our war against al Qaeda, even as I continued our broader efforts to disrupt, dismantle, and defeat his network. Then, last August, after years of painstaking work by my intelligence community, I was briefed on a possible lead to bin Laden. It was far from certain, and it took many months to run this thread to ground. I met repeatedly with my national security team as we developed more information about the possibility that we had located bin Laden hiding within a compound deep inside of Pakistan. And finally, last week, I determined that I had enough intelligence to take action, and authorized an operation to get Osama bin Laden and bring him to justice. Today, at my direction, the United States launched a targeted operation against that compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan."

Hubris ( /ˈhjuːbrɪs/), also hybris, means extreme haughtiness, pride or arrogance. Hubris often indicates a loss of contact with reality and an overestimation of one's own competence or capabilities, especially when the person exhibiting it is in a position of power.

Narcissism - self love, excessive interest in one's self; undue dwelling on one's own self or attainments.

THE LAST FLIGHT HOME

This came to me in an email. You may have already seen it, but here it is again. I thought you might be touched by it as I was. Doesn't make any difference whether or not it's true. It's a great reminder of what the military does for us.

GOD BLESS THIS AIRLINE CAPTAIN:

He writes: My lead flight attendant came to me and said, "We have an H.R. on this flight." (H.R. stands for human remains.) "Are they military?" I asked.

'Yes', she said.

'Is there an escort?' I asked.

'Yes, I already assigned him a seat'.

'Would you please tell him to come to the flight deck? You can board him early," I said.

A short while later, a young army sergeant entered the flight deck. He was the image of the perfectly dressed soldier. He introduced himself and I asked him about his soldier. The escorts of these fallen soldiers talk about them as if they are still alive and still with us.

'My soldier is on his way back to Virginia ,' he said. He proceeded to answer my questions, but offered no words.

I asked him if there was anything I could do for him and he said no. I told him that he had the toughest job in the military and that I appreciated the work that he does for the families of our fallen soldiers. The first officer and I got up out of our seats to shake his hand. He left the flight deck to find his seat.

We completed our preflight checks, pushed back and performed an uneventful departure. About 30 minutes into our flight I received a call from the lead flight attendant in the cabin. 'I just found out the family of the soldier we are carrying, is on board', she said. She then proceeded to tell me that the father, mother, wife and 2-year old daughter were escorting their son, husband, and father home. The family was upset because they were unable to see the container that the soldier was in before we left. We were on our way to a major hub at which the family was going to wait four hours for the connecting flight home to Virginia .

The father of the soldier told the flight attendant that knowing his son was below him in the cargo compartment and being unable to see him was too much for him and the family to bear. He had asked the flight attendant if there was anything that could be done to allow them to see him upon our arrival. The family wanted to be outside by the cargo door to watch the soldier being taken off the airplane.. I could hear the desperation in the flight attendants voice when she asked me if there was anything I could do. 'I'm on it, I said. I told her that I would get back to her.

Airborne communication with my company normally occurs in the form of e-mail like messages. I decided to bypass this system and contact my flight dispatcher directly on a secondary radio. There is a radio operator in the operations control center who connects you to the telephone of the dispatcher. I was in direct contact with the dispatcher. I explained the situation I had on board with the family and what it was the family wanted. He said he understood and that he would get back to me.

Two hours went by and I had not heard from the dispatcher. We were going to get busy soon and I needed to know what to tell the family. I sent a text message asking for an update. I saved the return message from the dispatcher and the following is the text:

'Captain, sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. There is policy on this now and I had to check on a few things. Upon your arrival a dedicated escort team will meet the aircraft. The team will escort the family to the ramp and plane side. A van will be used to load the remains with a secondary van for the family. The family will be taken to their departure area and escorted into the terminal where the remains can be seen on the ramp. It is a private area for the family only. When the connecting aircraft arrives, the family will be escorted onto the ramp and plane side to watch the remains being loaded for the final leg home. Captain, most of us here in flight control are veterans. Please pass our condolences on to the family. Thanks.'

I sent a message back telling flight control thanks for a good job. I printed out the message and gave it to the lead flight attendant to pass on to the father. The lead flight attendant was very thankful and told me, 'You have no idea how much this will mean to them.'

Things started getting busy for the descent, approach and landing. After landing, we cleared the runway and taxied to the ramp area. The ramp is huge with 15 gates on either side of the alleyway. It is always a busy area with aircraft maneuvering every which way to enter and exit. When we entered the ramp and checked in with the ramp controller, we were told that all traffic was being held for us.

'There is a team in place to meet the aircraft, we were told. It looked like it was all coming together, then I realized that once we turned the seat belt sign off, everyone would stand up at once and delay the family from getting off the airplane. As we approached our gate, I asked the copilot to tell the ramp controller we were going to stop short of the gate to make an announcement to the passengers. He did that and the ramp controller said, 'Take your time.'

I stopped the aircraft and set the parking brake. I pushed the public
address button and said, 'Ladies and gentleman, this is your Captain speaking I have stopped short of our gate to make a special announcement. We have a passenger on board who deserves our honor and respect. His Name is Private XXXXXX, a soldier who recently lost his life. Private XXXXXX is under your feet in the cargo hold.. Escorting him today is Army Sergeant XXXXXXX. Also, on board are his father, mother, wife, and daughter. Your entire flight crew is asking for all passengers to remain in their seats to allow the family to exit the aircraft first. Thank you.'

We continued the turn to the gate, came to a stop and started our shutdown procedures.. A couple of minutes later I opened the cockpit door. I found the two forward flight attendants crying, something you just do not see. I was told that after we came to a stop, every passenger on the aircraft stayed in their seats, waiting for the family to exit the aircraft.

When the family got up and gathered their things, a passenger slowly started to clap his hands. Moments later more passengers joined in and soon the entire aircraft was clapping. Words of 'God Bless You', ?I'm sorry?, ?thank you?, ?be proud?, and other kind words were uttered to the family as they made their way down the aisle and out of the airplane. They were escorted down to the ramp to finally be with their loved one.

Many of the passengers disembarking thanked me for the announcement I had made. They were just words, I told them, I could say them over and over again, but nothing I say will bring back that brave soldier.

I respectfully ask that all of you reflect on this event and the sacrifices that millions of our men and women have made to ensure our freedom and safety in these United States of AMERICA .

OBAMA SENDS MILLIONS IN FOREIGN AID TO OUR ENEMIES

Here is an example of what the Obama administration has approved in foreign aid. This is from a summary of a report issued by David Obey, D-WI, who is on the Appropriations committee. Mr. Obey has control over how this money is spent. A summary was quietly released by Obey's office last week without a word from any media.

$3.6 billion to expand and improve Afghan security forces

$400 million (requested amount) to improve Pakistani security forces (they hate us)

$1.52 billion as a straight up payment to Afghanistan ($86 million above the requested amount)

$665 million for security assistance in the West Bank and Gaza (Gaza=Hamas) (They hate us)

$250 million to Jordan for economic assistance ($250 million above requested amount) (Aren't they an oil producer?)

$360 million to Egypt ($310 million above requested amount) to expand over-site capacity of the State Department (What in the heck does that mean?)

$74 million to Lebanon for undisclosed purpose (They hate us)

$343 million ($50 million above requested amount) for humanitarian assistance for Gaza (Remember, Gaza=Hamas) (They want us dead)

$200 million for natural disasters for Somalia, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Middle East and South Asia (While 3/4 of the homes destroyed by Katrina in New Orleans are still not repaired and no one is living in them. WE HAVE OUR OWN NATURAL DISASTERS TO DEAL WITH!)

$837 million to the United Nations for "peacekeeping operations." Much of this money will likely end up in the hands of UN upper management personnel. Check it out. The UN is as corrupt as many of the nations it allegedly serves.

$17 million for the Iraqi criminal justice system (Another oil rich nation)
