The Obama Administration sold the stimulus bill on the premise that it would direct money to economically stagnant industries and create millions of jobs. Obama’s Department of Commerce then awarded $28 million to a company called One Economy Corp. One Economy Corp. then awarded $1.5 million to a company owned by actor-director Robert Townsend.
The purpose of these awards, both big and small, was to “help boost broadband Internet in under served areas across the country.” Well, isn’t that an admirable goal. Every American is entitled to have Internet service, according to Obama.
What did we get for giving away our money? An online soap opera called “Diary of a
Single Mom,” co-starring Billy Dee Williams and produced by Robert Townsend. And how
many jobs were “created or saved” for our $28.5 million? 142.47, according to
Dept. of Commerce grant reports. That’s $200,042 per job. And they are not even long term, permanent jobs. The jobs include field supervisors, sales reps, program managers, numerous production related positions, producers, cast members, casting director, and an executive assistant to Mr. Townsend. But if "Diary" goes the way of most other government projects, this single mom will soon find herself without a gig, all "created" jobs will be lost, and millions of our dollars will sink into the black hole known as Washington.
Do you think when the dimwits in Congress voted to approve this let's-give-the-whole-country broadband program they expected the money to be spent on infrastructure or to be spent on content? Surely the didn't intend $1.4 million to go to Billy Dee Williams or Robert Townsend. They aren't exactly what you call struggling artists.
Now I ask you, Folks, wouldn’t you rather see the government spend this money on Veterans’ benefits, or to save Medicare or Social Security, or pay for Food Stamps, or gosh, maybe to decrease our national debt? Remember, 40 cents of every one of those $28.5 million are borrowed from China or other countries. That's 11,400,000 borrowed dollars that have to be paid back when China cashes in. That's a lot of ca-ching for our kids to be responsible for.

NANCY, RETURN THE AIR FORCE JET!
Gee, Nancy, I know you are going to be very busy in the next two months, with all the fretting and stewing and crying, whining and finger pointing, and the stress of deciding whether to stay in your Foreclosed Pelosi House as a powerless squatter or to hide out in California with the other progressive loonies. But golly, Nancy, could you PLEASE RETURN THE AIR FORCE JET you've so arrogantly been flitting around on at our expense? Your Elitist days are over, Nancy, so bring it on home by midnight January 3, 2011. That's the end of your reign of terror. I trust the Air Force has something better to do with the plane than to haul you, your family and your imperial friends around the country. You are no longer entitled to this royal service, not that you ever were.
You can find some very good and cheap travel deals on the Internet, though. Of course, you'd have to cover the cost yourself. Is that a problem for you, Nancy? No longer flying on the public dime? Maybe you can audition for a part in the next Harry Potter movie or the next vampire flick. The directors might have a broom that will whisk you and your pals around, so you should feel real comfy. I wonder if they make brooms-for-two?
Personally? I hope whatever you flew into Washington on flies you right back out, and Good Riddance.
Nancy, now listen up. You and your messmates will go down in history as colossal failures who attempted to destroy our Constitution. Your tenure will line up right alongside Woodrow Wilson and Jimmy Carter as a miserable flop. Your agenda was orchestrated to reward your generous "donors" who put you all in power, and the American public put a screaming halt to it. Did you really think we would "sit down," "shut up" and "sit in the back of the bus" like you and Barry demanded? I guess we're not very good at taking orders from the hierarchy, huh, Nancy?
This election is a vast repudiation of your progressive, Marxist, Socialist agenda, and we aren't done yet. Obama and the rest of your wanna-be-dictators who survived 2010 are next. Pay attention, Nancy. 2010 was a start, and 2012 is right around the corner

TN MIDDLE SCHOOL COACH FIRED AFTER WRITING ANTI-GOVERNMENT SONG
THIS IS A GREAT SONG WRITTEN BY A TENNESSEE MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOTBALL COACH, BRIAN GLOVER (WITH KYLE HILL), WHO WAS FIRED AFTER HE WROTE THE SONG AND PUT IT ON THE INTERNET. THERE IS A SECOND VIDEO SHOWING FOX NEWS INTERVIEWING HIM. AND THERE IS A THIRD VIDEO SHOWING HIS APPEARANCE ON HIS LOCAL TV STATION. VIDEOS ARE VERY SHORT BUT OH, SO INTERESTING TO WATCH. WATCH ALL THREE VIDEOS AND THEN YOU DECIDE WHY HE WAS FIRED.

X-RAY VANS KEEPING AN EYE ON YOU
Did you watch Glenn Beck last night? He had some incredible information. Here are the highlights.
In California and 8 other western states the government can now place GPS units on your vehicles to track your moves. A court has ruled that the public has "no reasonable expectation of privacy" even in your own driveway. NO SEARCH WARRANT IS REQUIRED.
Locations of cell phones can now be tracked WITHOUT SEARCH WARRANTS by the FBI, Police, Homeland Security, and just about any government agency. No one has to ask or tell you this is happening. A judge in Philadelphia has agreed with the Obama Department of Justice. The Obama DOJ argued that Americans have "no reasonable expectation of privacy" when it comes to where people place and receive cell phone calls.
An article in the NY Times explains that the government is now seeking a new federal law that would force Internet, email, instant messaging and other communications providers to embed encryption codes into their systems for the purpose of law enforcement surveillance. NO SEARCH WARRANT is necessary. This is especially ironic because the Left bitched royally about Warrantless Wiretaps that Bush wanted to use in the war on terrorism. Guess it's okay to Big Brother Americans but not terrorists.
And the Best One Yet? An "X-ray Van" has been built for use in defense of our country and until now has only been used in Afghanistan and Iraq. Now it would make sense to use these high tech vans at shipyards x-raying containers, at borders looking for drugs and firearms, and in the war on terrorism. But now Obama's government has purchased 500 of these vans to be used "domestically," possibly in your neighborhood. Forbes Magazine asked the White House about this. Congress has also asked the White House for an explanation. But there has been no answer or explanation forthcoming about which department is purchasing them and what they will be used for. Congress is being stonewalled by an arrogant White House and president who thinks they don't have to answer to anyone.
And yeah, by now you've figured it out. X-ray vans can see through walls, clothing, vehicles, metals, anything and everything. I can just see it now. Government vans crawling up and down our streets checking to make sure we are all good little Americans. Remember, NO WARRANT REQUIRED again.
So we now have warrantless Internet tapping, warrantless cell phone tapping, warrantless car tapping, and warrantless x-raying of our homes and vehicles. And there is absolute silence from the Media. Only proves they are Obama's lap dogs and are devoid of all journalistic integrity.
Pardon me if I'm ticked off about all this warrantless surveillance. I happen to believe that our Constitution prohibits Big Brother Government from spying on us. But again, the Obama administration is thumbing their nose at us and our Constitution.
Enough said, Folks. November can't get here soon enough for me.
And Watch Glenn Beck daily, Fox News, 5 p.m. EST. Guaranteed to make you THINK!

THE INTERNET "KILL SWITCH"
A bill has been introduced in the U.S. Senate to grant the federal government "absolute power" to shut down the Internet and gives the president the authority to seize control of the web in the name of "national security." THIS IS NO JOKE!
The Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act of 2010 (PCNAA) was introduced by the traitorous Joe Lieberman. It gives the government the power to force private companies to "information share" with the feds and also gives the government the authority to monitor the "security status" of private sector websites. That's You, Me and All Of Us!
Of course, there has to be yet another new government agency created to police all companies that rely on the Internet, the telephone system and all components of the "information infrastructure." The directors of this new agency will have officers in the Departments of Defense, Justice, Commerce and National Intelligence.
Big Government would be able to read our emails, monitor which web sites we visit, and censure us by declaring a National Security emergency. Do you trust the government not to abuse this? I don't.
The largest Internet-based companies are surprisingly happy with the bill, but this is because it contains language that will give them absolute immunity from civil lawsuits, and the bill will also reimburse the companies for any costs incurred if the Internet is shut down for a period of time. The U. S. Treasury will pick up the private company's tab. Ooops, that's us.
The government has been searching for any avenue possible to regulate free speech on the Internet and shut down alternative media outlets, and this bill makes it all possible.
It's Good bye to another of our freedoms under the Obama administration's "Big Brother" policies.

Be sure to vote. It's your duty.
