LOW DOWN DIRTY, SLEAZY, SMELLY POLITICS

Top 5 items to know before the August 9 Recall elections.

#1, Obama’s Organizing for America PAC has poured millions into WI to buy The Badger State. OFA is hiring alleged Moore supporters to knock on doors throughout the districts. OFA was largely involved with helping protesters in Madison in February.

#2, In June there were 18,000 new jobs created nationwide. 9,500 of those jobs were in WI. That’s more than half. With 15 million Americans unemployed and the unemployment rate at 9.2%, I’d say Walker/Harsdorf and the rest of the Republican Senators are doing something right.

#3, Moore’s claim that Harsdorf wants to “end Medicare as we know it” is gibberish. It’s such a stupid statement that it earned Moore the rating of “Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire” from the Milwaukee Journal. The Moore mailing was an outright lie. Anybody with an ounce of brains knows that Harsdorf is a STATE SENATOR, who has no control over what happens with Medicare, it being a national program. Moore and the Dems should note that Harsdorf sits in Madison, not in Washington.

#4, Hudson school district saved $800,000 on health insurance premiums because, thanks to Walker/Harsdorf, the school district is now able to bid out the insurance instead of being forced to use the union’s insurance company. And most important?

#5, people throughout the 10th (Harsdorf) and 18th (Hopper) districts have reported receiving “robo” calls. The robot identifies the call as coming from Democrat National Committee Services. The robot asks “are you likely to vote in the Senate Recall election being held on August 16.” The August 16 date is repeated several times. I believe this is a deliberate, calculated attempt to confuse the electorate regarding the REAL date of the election in both of these districts. Talk about low down, dirty, sleazy, smelly politics, this is a prime example.

Yes, there are some recall elections on August 16, BUT the 10th and 18th districts are on AUGUST 9! The DNC knows exactly what they are doing by their lame attempt to confuse voters. Do not be fooled by these calls or anything else you get in the mail or are told about the date of the election. The Harsdorf election in the 10th Senatorial District is August 9. And every single vote will count. Please support Harsdorf if you want to continue to turn back the union stranglehold in Madison.

RACKETEERING GODFATHER STYLE!

Hello Readers - I was sent this great article from Investors.com about the union Death Threats against the WI Republicans who voted for the Walker Budget Repair Bill because that's what they were elected to do - GET RID OF OUR DEBT!! In addition to these Death Threats there are many, many businesses in WI who have been threatened with boycotting their services and products. Some have actually received letters from the unions stating they are being targeted.

So you lose at the ballot box and then throw a temper tantrum? Sounds like bullying to me. Only the unions mean it -- they will break your kneecaps, smash your fingers, get out their guns and place their bombs - the end justifies the means, according to the unions. I am waiting for the first Republican to turn up in a roadside ditch with a knife in their heart or a hole in their head. When it happens we will know who to blame.

I am also waiting for Obama to condemn the behavior of the union rabble-rousers. But he is too busy golfing to give a hoot about what's going on right under his nose.

DO YOU DOUBT WHAT I AM SAYING HERE? THEN WATCH THIS VIDEO ABOUT RICHARD TRUMKA, HEAD OF THE AFL/CIO AND A MAN NAMED EDDIE YORK. AND YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN.

HERE'S THE VIDEO

HERE'S THE ARTICLE
Racketeering: Over a dozen Wisconsin state senators have received death threats after voting to remove public union collective bargaining powers. Funny we haven't heard President Obama call for civility lately.

When Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., and 18 others were shot, and a federal judge, a 9-year-old girl and four others murdered, the president traveled to a Tucson sports arena to call for "more civility in our public discourse."

It is doubtful that speech saved a single life from any of the other psychopaths roaming free in America.

If President Obama were serious about preventing violence, he would by now have taken his civility road show to Madison, Wis., where union goons have been sending lawmakers Corleone-esque horse's heads through the mail, the phone lines and cyberspace.

State Sens. Pam Galloway, Glenn Grothman and Joe Leibham were among more than a dozen Republicans sent e-mails with messages such as "Death threat!!!! Bomb!!!!"

A note shoved under Grothman's door said, "The only good Republican is a dead Republican." He has stories of getting obscene phone calls in the middle of the night.

Two Republicans, state Sen. Randy Hopper and state Rep. Jeremy Thiesfeldt, feel so threatened that they backed out of marching in Saturday's St. Patrick's Day Parade in the city of Fond du Lac.

On top of that, businesses, such as Milwaukee financial firm Marshall & Ilsley, have received letters from public employee unions threatening boycotts.

Grothman says the threats to GOP lawmakers who are committed to restoring fiscal sanity to Wisconsin have "only steeled our resolve."

It was just last week that Republicans finally succeeded in restricting public workers' collective bargaining privileges after Democratic state senators had left the state in an attempt to thwart the legislative will of the elected majority and GOP Gov. Scott Walker.

Imagine the media storm that we would be enduring right now if these threats were directed at liberal Democrats and the issue was, say, abortion.

When members of an organization commit acts as part of an ongoing criminal enterprise, it's time to start investigating them under the federal RICO Act.

But in the meantime, where is Obama? Where are the calls for civility now?

Since these union goon tactics are the logical consequence of the Democratic National Committee's organization of the original Wisconsin protests against Walker last month, perhaps the president and his political allies have a civility double standard.

Go Get 'em Scott Walker (next Governor of WI)

US Transportation Sec. Ray LaHood was in WI to release 46.7 million stimulus dollars designated for a train line between Milwaukee and Madison. LaHood declared, "High-speed rail is coming to WI," and "there's no stopping it." Public support in the Madison-Milwaukee corridor has eroded as weary taxpayers drive on crumbling roads and bridges and are told there is no money to repair them.

But Obama/LaHood are forcing WI to continue building a train WI doesn't want and cannot afford. The decision to saddle WI taxpayers forever with untold millions in operating and maintenance costs was never debated or voted on by the WI legislature. It is a MANDATE by the federal government.

The cost estimate for this boondoggle is $810 million, plus operating costs, forever. Studies show that rail passenger fares are likely to cover only 20% of the operating/maintenance costs. That leaves WI families to pick up the other 80% through higher taxes and fees. And the increases won't be limited to WI families living in the rail corridor. It will be paid for by all WI taxpayers.

One argument in support of the rail line says spending $810 million on high-speed rail will create thousands of WI jobs. But according to the federal government's own estimate the total number of permanent jobs created will be 55. That's $14.5 million per job. Wow, isn't that a smart way to spend money?

WI is facing a $2.5 billion hole in next year's budget and a long list of roads/bridges in desperate need of repair.

Now for the information you need to know. Scott Walker is running for governor of WI. He has said in a letter to Obama: "I am drawing a line in the sand, Mr. President. No matter how much money you and Governor Doyle try to spend before the end of the year, I will put a stop to this boondoggle the day I take office." "Governor Doyle and Sec LaHood say we can't stop the train. I say, just watch us."

On the other hand, Tom Barrett, who is also running for governor, has made the Milwaukee to Madison train the centerpiece of this economic development plan for WI. He is squarely in favor of it.

Remember this when you vote in November. You can decide: Barrett = more spending, more taxes and bigger deficits; or, Walker = reduce spending, reduce taxes, smaller government, and balance our budget.
