BORDER BREACH - HERE COME 'DA DRUGS - AND TERRORISTS TOO

A week ago NumbersUSA was given this video exposing a major breach in the U.S./Mexico border fence. The location of this breach is about 100 miles SW of Tucson. But if it's this easy, you have to know it's going on in other sections of the fence.

NumbersUSA checked the authenticity of the video with the Department of Homeland Security. DHS has confirmed that the video is real and was taken recently. DHS has determined that with the clothes the people are wearing, their backpacks and other things they are carrying, they are definitely drug smugglers. DHS estimates the "haul" to be hundreds of pounds of illegal drugs.

DHS Sec. Napolitano has spouted off repeatedly claiming the border is more secure now that it has ever been. Napolitano and her Boss brag about fewer border crossings and how effective the increase in border agent numbers has been. But where are the border patrol agents in this video? They can't report illegal crossings that they don't witness. No wonder Napolitano believes her own rhetoric. She's reporting only what the border agents know about.  Obviously, despite claims by the Obama Robots, the border is not secure.

The fence in this video was built by the Bush Administration and was part of a $1 billion Boeing contract.  The fence was designed and built to do exactly what the smugglers did.  The panels slide up and down inside two steel columns.  Who knows what the Bush/Boeing reasoning was behind this design.  Maybe they thought they’d make it easy for border agents to go back and forth so they could chase the bad guys.  Who knows?  But wouldn’t you think that someone in government or the engineers at Boeing would have realized that if they did not WELD the panels in place, the bad guys would be able to violate the fence at any location along the fence?  So much for the effectiveness of the so-called border fence. 

Drugs flowing into our country are bad enough.  What about illegal immigrants just raising the fence and they’re in?  And even worse is the threat to our national security, terrorists whose only goal is to kill us?  The TSA is so worried about airport security they molest old ladies and small children.  But the REAL threat is on our southern border, in spite of what Obama and Napolitano are telling you. 

 

SCHOOL LUNCH SWAT TEAMS ARE ON THE JOB - THANKS, OBAMACARE!

Did you hear about this yesterday?  A North Carolina, a mom home-packs a great lunch for her four-year-old consisting of a turkey sandwich, small bag of chips, a banana, and some apple juice.   As the child is eating her home-packed lunch, along comes a “lunch inspector” who looks at the lunch, decides it’s not a healthy meal, and refuses to let the child eat it.  The “inspector” forces the student to eat the school’s USDA-approved lunch of chicken nuggets instead.  And the icing on the cupcake (which students can’t bring to school any longer because they are “sweet”) is the school sent the home-packed lunch back home along with a note saying the lunch didn’t meet USDA guidelines and a bill for $1.25 for the chicken nugget meal.  Yes, this was a PUBLIC SCHOOL.  After a N.C. state representative got involved, it turns out the home-packed lunch did, in fact, meet USDA guidelines.  OOPS!

And then there’s a school in Chicago where students are not allowed to bring lunches from home, no how, no way, never.  The principal says she “intends to protect students from their own unhealthful food choices.” 

How about the school in Iowa who confiscated school lunches from a whole bunch of students and threw them in the garbage?  The reason?  Because their “lunch accounts” were overdrawn.  One mother stated that her account has always been in good standing but that week she just forgot to make a payment.  One student called her dad, very upset and embarrassed, and her brother had to go to the school that very minute and make a payment of $10.00 so she could eat lunch.  Can you imagine the students' humiliation?

And then there’s the mother who got a letter from her child’s preschool stating that the school has enacted a “no pudding in the lunch” policy.  According to the letter pudding didn’t meet healthy food guidelines.  When the father called the school and read the ingredients off the pudding container, the first ingredient being MILK, the director stated that she didn’t care what the ingredient was.  Too bad, it was her decision and she was sticking by it.

While discussing this today Rush Limbaugh got a call from a parent who said that even though his child doesn’t want milk for lunch, the school requires that he include a container of milk in the child’s home-packed lunch.  Since the child doesn’t like milk, doesn’t drink milk, but Daddy has to include it anyway, the Lunch Inspectors pour it down the drain. 

Guess where the Lunch Inspector power comes from?  The Affordable Care Act, commonly known as Obamacare.  There’s some vague Ag Department language in the bill that says schools have to “Ensure healthy school lunches,” and the multiple agencies implementing Obamacare can interpret that in whatever Socialist way they want to.  And they are! 

Next Big Brother Government will demand “safety zones” where the Potato Chip eaters will be isolated from the Government Approved eaters so the GA eaters would not be in the line of sight of the PC eaters.  Big Brother could call it the “Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind” mandate.  GA approved chicken nuggets are acceptable, but we surely don’t want any GA eater to be tempted by a Rice Krispie bar, now, do we.   It's a Free Country, unless you want to pack your kid's lunch.  Then no so much.

SPEAKING OUT OF BOTH SIDES OF HIS MOUTH!

 Obama has gotten himself into a bit of a pickle over his mandate that religious based organizations must offer contraception, including the morning after abortion pill, to all of its employees FREE of charge with no co-pay.  The Catholic Church and other religious leaders quickly pounced and said No, No, this is against our First Amendment Freedom of Religion rights.  And while I agree with them, I see it as something even more wicked.

 I believe the contraception broo haha is about the power of the federal government.  It’s about Obama’s fuzzy interpretation of the U. S. Constitution, that pesky little document that he likes to ignore.  Nowhere does it say the President of the U.S. has the authority to tell anyone, insurance companies, churches, religious hospitals, or anyone else, that they MUST provide FREE contraception to ALL women, including the morning-after abortion pill. Nothing gives Obama the power to mandate abortion on demand and then make us pay for it.  Where in the Constitution does it say the government has that power? Oh, yeah, I forgot, it’s not in the Constitution, silly me, it’s in Obamacare.  That’s Nancy Pelosi’s you’ve-got-to-pass-it-to-find-out-what’s-in-it bill.  That’s the bill that was negotiated in back rooms in the middle of the night, the one where senators and congressmen were paid for their vote with pork projects, the one that wasn’t written, that nobody read, and now is being created by highly paid Obamawonks just for us.  Aren’t we lucky?   

 But wait, if Obamacare can mandate that ALL women get so-called FREE contraception and abortion services, what’s to prevent Obamacare from mandating that if you are over, say 70, and you get certain hard to treat illnesses, you won't get treatment? Oh, you think that won’t happen?  Well, I believe that if we relinquish the contraception/abortion issue to the government, their drunk-with-power position will only get worse. I don't want to live to 70-75 and be denied medical treatment because Obamacare bureaucrats decided I shouldn't have it.  If you don't think it will come to that you are living in Candy Land.  

Obamacare has to get the money from somewhere to cover 40 million uninsured. Obamacare reduces Medicare payments to providers by $500 billion to pay for the mandate that come hell or high water, everyone will be insured. The health of the elderly will be sacrificed for the health of the young. After all, the young have way more to contribute to society than the old. It's a simple matter of dollars. The country is broke.  We can’t afford to insure the young and keep the old healthy too.

 So now Obama says, “Wow, I really stepped into doo doo, so I will change my mind.  Religious institutions won't have to provide free birth control and the morning-after abortion pill, but their insurance companies will have to - at NO CHARGE.” Is he really that stupid? Does he think the insurance companies are going to eat the cost? We will all pay for this lunacy through higher premiums. Also, many of the religious organizations are self-insured. So whether the religious organization pays for it or their self-insured company pays for it, it's the same thing.

But just wait, you have to watch what he does compared to what he says.  If, God forbid, he somehow gets re-elected in 2012, you can bet he’ll change his mind and go back to his original position of mandating that religious institutions provide these services.  I have no trust in anything that comes out of His Lordship's mouth. His flip-flop yesterday is a pure political move designed to calm the Masses and get him votes in November. After that it's all fair game again.  Maybe, just maybe, the Supreme Court will toss Obamacare to the dogs – exactly where it belongs.   

SENATOR RON JOHNSON, WI, TELLS THE TRUTH ON DEBT AND SPENDING

WI. SENATOR RON JOHNSON TELLS IT LIKE IT IS!  HE'S GOT IT RIGHT.  WE ARE HEADED FOR A TOTAL, ALL OUT FISCAL DISASTER.  AND LOOK AT HOW MUCH ADDITIONAL DEBT THE BIG SPENDER IN THE WHITE HOUSE WANTS TO SADDLE US WITH.

WE BETTER ELECT A FISCAL CONSERVATIVE IN 2012 AND PRAY THAT WHOEVER IT IS HAS ENOUGH GUTS TO SLICE ALL GOVERNMENT SPENDING.  CLEARLY, IF THE GOVERNMENT GRABBED EVERY DOLLAR EARNED, IT WOULDN'T BE ENOUGH TO SOLVE THEIR SPENDING PROBLEM.  MORE TAXES EQUATES TO MORE GOVERNMENT SPENDING ON PORK, EAR MARKS, GIVE AWAYS, POLITICAL PAYOFFS AND JUNK. 

DON'T SADDLE FUTURE GENERATIONS WITH MORE OF THIS CRAZINESS.  VOTE OUT EVERYONE IN WASHINGTON WHO IS NOT A FISCAL CONSERVATIVE.  WE SENT A BUNCH THERE IN 2010.  THEY NEED HELP.  CONSERVATIVES NEED TO CONTROL THE SENATE AND THE WHITE HOUSE TO GET ANYTHING DONE.  WE MUST FINISH THE JOB IN 2012 AND THEN KEEP THEM ALL ACCOUNTABLE. 
WATCH SENATOR JOHNSON AND BE PROUD THAT WE SENT HIM THERE TO DO A JOB, AND HE'S DOING IT.  IN 2012 LET'S SEND HIM OTHERS TO HELP HIM IN THE FIGHT TO SAVE AMERICA FROM FISCAL ARMAGEDDON.

SUPREME COURT JUSTICE GINSBURG THROWS U.S. CONSTITUTION UNDER THE BUS

Supreme Court Justice Ginsburg visited Cairo, Egypt last week and suggested that Egypt not use the U. S. Constitution as a model in forming a direction for the formation of Egypt’s new constitution.  She said she would not use the U.S. Constitution in 2012 for the basis of forming a new government.  Yes, this is a U. S. Supreme Court Justice speaking. 

Ginsburg was traveling in Egypt to speak with Egyptian judges.  In an interview with a reporter she was asked to explain the foundation of the U. S. Constitution and how it could be applied to today’s Egypt.  When asked about models for the Egyptian people, Ginsburg said Egyptians “should certainly be aided by all the constitution-writing that has gone on since the end of World War II.”  Is Ginsburg suggesting anything written prior to WWII is archaic and out dated?  She then suggested Egypt look to South Africa’s Constitution, and to Canada’s 1982 Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and the European Convention on Human Rights.  Ginsburg stated, “Why not take advantage of what else there is in the world?”

Ginsburg’s comments are not alien to her overall philosophy.  She has previously stated that she weighs foreign law as well as U. S. law when forming her legal opinions as a Supreme Court Justice.  She must not understand the oath she took when she became a SC Justice.  She had to swear to uphold the U. S. Constitution – not the Canadian Charter of Rights, not South Africa’s Constitution, and certainly not the European Convention on Human Rights, nor any other countries’ rules and laws. 

Can you imagine what Ginsburg’s position will be the first time the Supreme Court hears a case on whether or not Islamic (Shariah) Law can be used in American courts?  It is only a matter of time before that issue reaches the Justices.  More than 20 state courts are currently considering laws to ban state judges from considering Shariah laws in American courtrooms.   But in Oklahoma a federal appeals judge has already ruled that Oklahoma cannot ban the use of Islamic (Shariah) law or international law in Oklahoma courts.   No doubt about it.  The issue will eventually end up before the Supreme Court and before Justice Ginsburg. 

Think your vote isn’t important in 2012?  Planning on staying home because the Republicans are acting like playground bullies?  You better change your mind fast and get to the polls in November.  If Obama spends another four years in office he will undoubtedly have the opportunity to appoint another Progressive Liberal to the bench.  He’s already done it twice – Sotomayor and Kagen. Ginsburg isn’t going to live forever, or she may choose to retire.   But as bad as she is, another Obama appointment could be even worse.   

UNEMPLOYMENT STATS, PEACHY KEEN OR ROTTEN APPLES

Today Washington and the Media celebrated when the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the U.S. unemployment rate had fallen to 8.3%, the lowest figure since Feb. 2009.   Based on this “good” news pundits all over the world are declaring the U.S. economy is making a comeback.  But what’s the truth?  I’ve read some of the reports, and here’s my analysis of the fraudulent BLS figures.

Do you know what “Americans not in the labor force” means?  They are people who have quit looking for work.  Between Dec. 2011 and Jan. 2012 the numbers of Americans who have dropped out of the job market increased by 1.2 million.   That’s the largest increase EVER in that category for a single month.  This is BLS information.  You can check it out for yourself.  This is the scam the feds are using to make it appear that the unemployment rate has gone down. 

Here’s how it works.  In Dec. 2011 there were 132.9 million Americans working.  In Jan. 2012 there were 130.4 million American working.  That’s 2.5 million fewer people working in the span of one month.  These people gave up looking for a job.  They are no longer in the federal stats reporting system.  They have left the workforce.   So they no longer show up in any federal reporting agency.  They are gone, vamoosed, disappeared, vanished, nowhere to be found in the stats.  And Washington and the media call this an improvement. 

But the BLS says 233,000 jobs have been created in Jan., and the unemployment rate is down to 8.3%, and it’s time to break out the wine and fire off the rockets and celebrate!  What a hoax.  If 2.5 million people have dropped out, but only 233,000 have found jobs, how does that equate to a DECREASE in the unemployment rate to 8.3% from 8.9%?  What happened to the 2,267,000?  They are out of the system.  It’s beyond stupidity that so many supposedly intelligent people continue to buy into these fraudulent numbers. 

 If labor force participation, meaning the number of Americans “in the system” were what it was in 2009, the unemployment rate would be 10.2%. 

This is what makes no sense:

The government pretending that millions of unemployed Americans have decided that they simply don’t want jobs anymore and then reporting corrupt unemployment figures.

The government spending money like there is no tomorrow.  During 2011 the Obama administration stole an average of 150 million dollars an hour from our kids and grandkids and pumped it into failing businesses, dubious green energy companies, frivolous political payback projects and pie-in-the-sky schemes.

New home sales in the U.S. hit an all-time record low in 2011.

Foreclosures are at an all-time high.

25-29% of American homeowners are underwater regarding price to value.

The percentage of Americans living in extreme poverty is at an all-time high.

Average duration of unemployment is close to an all-time record high.

There’s one American on Food Stamps for every 3 who are not.  That’s 25% of Americans, a new
all-time high.

49% of all Americans get some sort of direct monetary benefit from the federal government.

That same 49% will be voting in 2012 for our next administration.  Do you think they will bite the hand that feeds them?    

No president has ever been re-elected when the unemployment rate is over 8 percent, so guess what it’s going to be by the time we get to Election Day?  Bet it will be manipulated to under 8%. 

A BAILOUT IS STILL A BAILOUT!

A BAILOUT BY ANY OTHER NAME IS STILL A BAILOUT!


Here we go again. Obama proposed today to spend another $10 billion to bailout underwater homeowners. This is in addition to the money he’s already thrown at the miserable housing market. The money he’s already spent has done nothing to help. So what does the Bailer in Chief do? More bailing, again and again and again.

And he wants the banks to charge a fee to pay for another ill conceived program. Does he not understand that any fees the bank charges will just be passed on to all of their customers? So Americans end up paying to bailout people who are in over their heads.

The program works like this. The banks will be forced by government mandate to refinance mortgages for borrowers whose interest rates are higher than what Uncle Obama thinks is fair. As many as 11 million borrowers may qualify for the scheme. Banks would be REQUIRED to reduce mortgage balances for homeowners whose mortgages are more than 140 percent of the value of their home. This new provision is supposed to be part of the already passed HARP (Home Affordable Refinance Program) legislation. But Google HARP. See what a failure it’s been. The new Bailout provisions are projected to save eligible taxpayers up to $3000 for the average borrower. To quality? You must be current on your mortgage. Well, excuse me, but millions of Americans are not current on their mortgages. They’ve lost their jobs. They can’t find work anywhere. They are losing everything. Lowering their mortgage balances and interest rates won’t help them. The biggest question? Why would Obama bailout homeowners who are not in trouble with their mortgages? VOTES! He’s feeding the beast that he thinks will elect him again. He’s buying votes with bailout money. So what’s new?

The banks can pass along the fee, making banking more expensive for the rest of us, and if they can’t collect enough fees to cover their Bailout losses, then oops, here we go again; Obama will just bail out the banks again. Any way you look at it, Americans are going to foot the bill for this stupidity.

Obama’s attempts to bailout the housing industry have only prolonged hitting the bottom, and the housing industry will not recover until it hits the bottom. Bailouts will not help. Jobs will help. Like the Keystone Pipeline, like drilling for oil in the Gulf of Mexico, like opening up every energy resource we have. No, not green energy jobs that he favors. Most of his “pet” companies are already bankrupt, dragging trillions of our tax dollars with them.

Bailouts will only add to our increasing deficit, which will be close to 4 trillion dollars for fiscal 2012 – added to the 16 trillion already spent. But what the heck does Obama care? He’s added over a trillion dollars every year since he took office. What’s another four, five or more? He’ll be out of office and won’t have to deal with the destruction he’s causing. Maybe he’ll go back to wherever he was born. We can always hope.
