You didn't hear this from the Main Stream Media, but last week 100 scientists sent a letter to Obama's Second Amendment assassin, Joe Biden.  In exploiting the Sandy Hook shooting, these scientists are begging Congress to give them money for gun violence research.  Yes, they really do want us to borrow 48 cents of every dollar they receive so they can have a voice at the table as Obama and Biden Executive Order their way to the Vanishing Firearms Act.  Debt Be Damned, Just Show Us The Money - and Your Guns.

“AMERICA DESERVES BETTER” 

2006.  Barack Obama is a U.S. Senator.  When it became necessary to raise the debt ceiling due to Bush’s wild spending, this is what Senator Obama said, and I quote:

“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure.  It is a sign that the U. S. Government can’t pay its own bills.  It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies…Increasing America’s deb t weakens us domestically and internationally.  Leadership means that “the buck stops here.”  Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren.  America has a deb t problem and a failure of leadership.  Americans deserve better.”

Well, he’s right that we deserve better.  

But did you hear him today?  He sure had a change of heart.  Obama rejected any negotiations with Republicans over raising the borrowing limit of the U.S., also known as the “Debt Ceiling.”  He also said the “Debt Limit has nothing to do with new spending.” 

CBS News’ Major Garret nailed Obama on the subject today by asking him about his four negative “Debt Ceiling” votes when he was a Senator.   In usual fashion Obama talked all around the subject, never addressing why he has conveniently changed his mind now that he has his hands on the checkbook. His main response was “We’re not a deadbeat nation.”  Oh, no? 

What do you call it when we are borrowing money just to pay the interest on our debt with no end in sight but we’re not willing to change any of our spending habits?  What do you call it when our debt is projected to rise a million dollars each year for the next 10 years thanks to Obama’s spending?  I call that Obamanomics. 

Don’t expect anything different from Obama and Friends because they don’t get it.  According to John Boehner, in no uncertain terms, President Obama told the Speaker, "We don't have a spending problem." And Boehner went further to say that our unqualified Commander in Chief thinks that almost all of our economic woes are the result of, "a healthcare problem."

Every day President Obama opens his uneducated mouth we learn about a statement that is more incredulous than the previous day. But this newest statement is astonishing.  There are no words for such irrationality, foolishness and complete and absolute total lack of understanding of the financial plight of our nation.  It is inconceivable to think that the man who runs the largest economy in the world, the man who was elected to a second term to arguably the most important job in the world, has so little understanding of the workings of the economic engine that runs America.

How, with any sane reasoning, can the President of The United States think that a $16 trillion debt (going to be $20 trillion by the time he’s done) did not come about by spending too much money? How can Barack Hussein Obama, knowing that every entitlement program we have is overburdened by debt, not think we have a spending problem?

He sure played it perfectly to his Useful Idiots.  Can’t get a handle on the amount of debt?  Here it is in a nutshell. 

1 million seconds approx.:  11 days

1 billion seconds approx.. 3 years

1 trillion seconds approx..32,000 years

We are at $16 trillion making a beeline for $20 trillion.  Figure It Out. 

Wake up Americans: Obama is committed to sinking us.

PAUL REVERE, FREEDOM, GUNS AND OBAMA

Everyone who went to an American school prior to 1960 learned about The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere.  Students after 1960 may or may not know about it because that's about the time the details of 

Pre-Revolutionary War American History became irrelevant in text books.

Here are some facts about Paul Revere's ride.  He did not ride alone.  He rode through the countryside gathering other Patriot members of the Sons of Liberty as he went.  Their mission was to warn people in the countryside that the British (Red Coats or Regulars) were coming to confiscate their firearms.  The Colonists knew that the British were organizing a raid to seize all weapons.  Trying to outsmart the Brits the Colonists stored their arms at Concord.  The night of Revere’s ride the Red Coats were coming to get the Colonists’ weapons that were stored at Concord.  The Colonists knew if their weapons were gone they’d be at the mercy of the King of England.  They were willing to sacrifice their lives for Freedom, but not their guns. 

Thus the Second Amendment to the Constitution was written.  Our Forefathers knew the citizens would have no power against a power grabbing dictatorial government if they had no means of defense.  They knew they would be forming a new government, and they were fearful that a new government would claim too much power, which would be easy to do if the citizens were disarmed.  The Second Amendment was not intended to protect Americans from other Americans.  Its sole purpose was to protect Americans from their Government.

This parallels what is happening in 2013 with the proposed confiscatory gun controls Obama and Biden will be instituting.  In 1776 our gun rights were included in our Constitution.  In 2013 Obama wants to get rid of them by Executive Order.  The Power and Freedom of the citizens will be gone if our firearms are gone.   The American Revolution was also about excessive Taxation without Representation (Google The Stamp Act).  Guns and Taxes, another American Revolution is knocking on our door.

TALES OF THE RED TAPE, #4, LIBRARIANS TRAFFIC IN TOXIC FUMES

Heritage Foundation, Tales of the Red Tape #4, Government says librarians are toxic fume peddlers.  The question is, are our kids eating their books?  Not on your life, but the regulators think they might. Enter the new law that prohibits even minute levels of lead in anything a kid touches, including books, including old books that have not been reprinted with super duper lead free inks.  Librarians are now the Lead Police!

I have an idea!  This is another government attempt to liberalize your young stock by removing books that might contradict their Progressive version of America, books that are most likely to contain Patriotic, Moral or Christian themes that were published before the Left got their fangs into our public schools.

Ben Shapiro takes on Piers Morgan on the subject of gun control in America.  Morgan would like to see America have gun laws more like the U.K., where he is from.  What he doesn't say in this clip is that the U.K., since banning gun ownership, has seen a huge rise in violent crime being perpetrated with other weapons.  Ben confronts Morgan with the facts, and Morgan does not like it.  He actually refers to our Constitution as "Your Little Book."  I crown Morgan the Twit Of The Year.

OBAMA'S FUTURE FOR AMERICA, A DEAD END

Obama and the neo-fanatical spenders in Washington are ramming us down the path to insolvency.   We will become Greece and Spain, and our unemployment rates higher than they currently are.  The official rate is 7.8% and rising, but when you count Americans who have quit looking and dropped out of the labor force, the rate is really around 20%  Not far from what Spain and Greece are experiencing.  It’s only a matter of time before what’s going on there will be happening here.  People without jobs get desperate.  Can’t say that I blame them.  NOTE:  Every man, woman and child in America owes the government $51,000 as of this week. And the amount is rising.  Riots and rebellion are on the horizon.

MARINES DICTATE RULES FOR SPOUSE CLUBS

The Marines have decided, a declaration has been issued, Marine Spouse and Family Clubs must admit same-sex spouses to all events held by the clubs.  When Obama ruled Don't Ask, Don't Tell was going bye bye in the Military there was concern about the unintended consequences of the action.  Well, here is one result.  If you are in the Military you will have to decide if you want to continue using the services of Spouse and Family Clubs.  Or you can take your spouse and family to events that are held off base.  You Decide.
