OBAMA'S FUTURE FOR AMERICA, A DEAD END

Obama and the neo-fanatical spenders in Washington are ramming us down the path to insolvency.   We will become Greece and Spain, and our unemployment rates higher than they currently are.  The official rate is 7.8% and rising, but when you count Americans who have quit looking and dropped out of the labor force, the rate is really around 20%  Not far from what Spain and Greece are experiencing.  It’s only a matter of time before what’s going on there will be happening here.  People without jobs get desperate.  Can’t say that I blame them.  NOTE:  Every man, woman and child in America owes the government $51,000 as of this week. And the amount is rising.  Riots and rebellion are on the horizon.  

GREECE AND SPAIN IN ALL THEIR GLORY 

OUR BIG FAT GREEK BAILOUT

Hey, if you haven’t heard about this, Greece is being “bailed out,” and this week the stock markets responded with glee. Investors must think the world’s financial problems are over.

Greece is the birthplace of Democracy, where Capitalism once flourished. But let’s look at Greece today. It has become the poster child for the Womb to Tomb version of the Nanny State. How did Greece go from Capitalism to Socialism? They had a Big Fat Greek Wedding where the bride, the groom and all the guests were showered with presents, hand-outs, party favors, and gifts, and all future offspring blissfully jumped on the gravy train. But now the honeymoon is over.

Greece borrows 50% of what it spends. (The U.S. borrows 40% of what it spends.) Greece spends their borrowed money on over spending, over compensating, over promising, over regulating, over taxing, and over extending. Does this sound familiar?

Greece is leading the insolvency race, but watch out, here comes Portugal, Italy, Ireland, and Spain not far behind. Who’s to blame? European Socialism did this. The Greeks have become completely dependent on government social programs. And now they realize the government can no longer finance their schools, their colleges, their pensions, airports, hospitals, medical facilities, health care, and welfare programs. Greece has learned a brutal lesson. Socialism does not work.

Any government that cannot pay its bills cannot be trusted to handle its money. Greece has been unable to get anyone to lend it any more cash. It is saddled with extraordinarily high interest payments on loans Greece has already been given that they cannot repay. So Greece appealed to the European Union to bail it out. In other words, Greece wants other people to pay its debts.

Now the EU has agreed to do so, and here’s how it’s going to happen. This is such a convoluted plan you are going to have to pay attention here.

The European banks who have already loaned money to Greece will get back 50 cents on the dollar from Greece. Those same banks will then look to other governments they do business with for the remaining 50 cents. Example, if a German bank loaned one million Euros to Greece, they will expect Greece to repay ½ million, and the German government will pay the other half million. Now you are probably wondering where will the German government get their ½ million? From the German taxpayer. And when the German taxpayer can’t or won’t make the payments where will the money come from? You’ve got it! The Federal Reserve. And when the Federal Reserve can’t or won’t come up with the cash where will it come from? The International Monetary Fund. What is the IMF, you ask? That’s the loony Socialist World Bank, 1/3 of which is funded by the American taxpayer. That’s a cool one hundred billion dollars.

So now you know the truth. The ultimate Knight in Shining Armor for the Greek Socialist economy is YOU.

Now, you would expect that Obama would not approve of us financing the Greek bailout. After all, it’s not as if we have money to burn. And it would seem reasonable that he would understand, oh, you know, that banks and people who make risky investments must accept the consequences of those risks and cannot look to the taxpayer for a handout. Otherwise what’s to prevent them from making crazy, reckless investments in the future? You’d think that no one would lend a penny to the Greek government, since they’re obviously lacking in debt management skills. You’d think that Obama or someone in Congress would say NO to our involvement in this financial charade.

But you’d be oh, so wrong. This week Greece’s Rich Uncle Obama praised the solution and stood fully behind the IMF providing bailout funds to Greece. YOU are the answer to Greece’s financial problems.

While we have unemployment over 9% and while we borrow 40% of everything we spend from China, what are we doing bailing out Greece? To you Obamabots, is this what you elected him to do? Has Congress authorized this? No.

We are experiencing 5% inflation if you include food and fuel, continued high unemployment, and the continual erosion of the dollar. So why has Your Guy lubed up the feds money printing press and pledged billions of dollars of our kids’ future income to bail out Greece?

Does the U. S. Constitution allow The Bailout King to spend billions of taxpayer dollars on a European bailout? No, but he’s doing it anyway while thumbing his nose at the Constitution, at Congress, and at every American, while sending our debt clock into overdrive.

And it’d be so easy for him to Just Say No. He could do it by Executive Order. He uses the EO for everything else. This is one time where it would do some good.

GREAT BIG JOBS GOOSE EGG

Today in Detroit, MI, Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa, Jr. had some profane, combative words for Republicans and Tea Partiers while warming up the crowd for Obama’s “Let’s Put America Back To Work” speech.

"We got to keep an eye on the battle that we face: The war on workers. And you see it everywhere, it is the Tea Party. And you know there is only one way to beat and win that war. The one thing about working people is we like a good fight. And you know what? They've got a war, they got a war with us and there's only going to be one winner. It's going to be the workers of Michigan, and America. We're going to win that war," Jimmy Hoffa Jr. told a heavily union crowd.

"President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march. Let's take these sons of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong," Hoffa added.

And then it was Obama’s turn to address the crowd. And when he took the stage he said he was "proud" of Jimmy Hoffa and other labor leaders. Obama didn’t chastise Hoffa for his inflammatory “fightin’ words.” He didn’t tell him to speak more peacefully, to stop the threats and name calling, to end the political posturing. No, Obama went on to use the same tactics to denigrate Tea Partiers and the Republicans. Today Obama spoke not to Americans but to Labor Unions and workers. Barack Obama sees America as the United States of Unions, not the United States of America. Hoffa and Obama, take note. Union workers are not the ONLY workers in America. In fact, there are more non-union workers than union workers. Get it?

There is a certain irony in Obama speaking on Labor Day to Labor Unions about jobs creation when his policies created NO jobs last month and his big picture job creation policies are a big fat Goose Egg.

I listened to Obama today, something I seldom do because his empty promises and lies disgust me, but today I did listen closely to get a glimpse of what his great “Jobs Plan,” set to be announced in full later this week, will be. Know what I heard him say today?

First, I heard him imply that the unemployment rate is the fault of the Tea Party Congress and the Republicans. HUH?

Then I heard The Boy Wonder chastise Republicans for “taxpayer bailouts.” He said “no more taxpayer bailouts.” He must have forgotten who approved all of the other Taxpayer Bailouts. What a short memory.

I heard Him say he will “end wasteful giveaways to big banks.” Really? Who doubled down on “giveaways” after he took office?

He also touted the cars coming out of Detroit saying “American auto workers could build the best cars in the world.” Oh, he must mean the government mandated Chevy Volt, the electric car that no one wants (GM sold 125 in July), the car that costs up to $45,000 but needs a $7500 tax credit (plus other state and city incentives) to entice Americans to purchase this tin can death trap. The car that travels 25-50 miles on a charge, has no charging stations where you can recharge it, since Costco just closed the charging stations they installed 2 years ago due to lack of use. He must be talking about this amazing American car.

And then PBO said, “I am fighting for a chance to give our kids a better life than we had.” How ignorant of him. He must not understand simple economics. Too much debt equals bankruptcy and financial failure. Give our kids a better life? Not under Obama’s watch. But a bigger debt? Well, Happy Birthday kiddies, here’s your present. Hope you get it paid for in your lifetime.

Obama said he doesn’t like “favoritism, and we need the same set of rules from Wall Street to Main St.” Does that mean he is giving up on back room deals in the wee hours of the morning to buy votes for his pet projects? Remember Obamacare? All of the promises he made to companies and legislators to get the bill passed, but now he’s issued thousands of “waivers” to select companies and MOST unions, stating they do not need to comply with this behemoth of a bill. Is this what he means by “favoritism?” And what about The Dream Act? It was rejected by both parties in Congress, but now Obama has figured out a way around Congress and is giving Amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants. “Favoritism? “ I think so. And what about Cap and Trade, which was also turned down by Congress? Well, Obama’s EPA is now regulating coal so heavily that 10% of existing coal fired plants will be forced out of business within a few years. Remember when Candidate Obama said “under my administration energy bills will necessarily have to skyrocket?” No oil drilling on our shores? Halted oil drilling in our waters? Economic disaster? No jobs? How is any of this Fair?

Black favoritism? How about when the DOJ refused to prosecute Black Panthers on voter intimidation charges when the DOJ had video proof of the incident?

Maybe the first elected Black President thinks its “Fair” that the unemployment rate for Black Americans is the highest it’s been in 27 years, far higher than the rate for other segments of American society.

The worst example of Obama fairness? How about the torrent of new regulations unleashed by this Administration? Since taking office in January 2009 Obama and his appointed henchmen have imposed 75 new MAJOR regulations, with additional costs exceeding $40 billion annually. No other President has ever burdened businesses, individuals and our economy with a higher number and larger cost of regulations in a comparable period.

And a great many more new rules and regulations are looming. The spring 2011 Unified Agenda lists 2,785 rules (proposed and final) in the pipeline. Of those, 144 are classified as “economically significant.” With each of the 144 pending major rules expected to cost at least $100 million annually, they represent at least $14 billion in new burdens each year. This is the biggest reason the job growth rate last month was ZERO. Oh, fairness, how sweet it is.

And the most egregious thing he stated? He said “Democrats and Republicans worked together to give families a tax cut that is going to expire soon.” I believe he’s referring to the extension of the Bush tax rates that were renewed last year. But how short is his attention span? The Republicans were in favor of extending the Bush tax rates and Obama and the Dems didn’t want to do it. Remember the huge battle in Washington to get it done and the Democrats had to be dragged kicking and screaming to the table? Now Obamaliar is taking credit for “working together” in giving families a tax cut. And I can’t figure out whether this colossal idiot really believes his own lies or is just too stupid to know what he says is nuts.

Take a good look, America, it’s pretty evident the 2012 OBama campaign will consist of viciousness, name calling, threats, thuggery, lies and the “it’s not my fault, Bush is to blame.” Or better yet, “Congress and the Republicans are to blame.” He surely cannot run on his record of job growth, spending, lowering unemployment, economic growth, Obamacare, fixing the housing mess or uniting America. When a president has failed so miserably on so many fronts, all he has left is name calling, mud slinging and finger pointing.

The Obama job creation proposal this week will consist of the same pathetic plan – spend more money, run up more debt, tax the rich. He’s already flushed 80 billion stimulus dollars down the drain with ZERO jobs created. His “tax the rich” mantra is simply taking money already in circulation and redistributing it. He should face it! He has no solution. Government is NEVER the answer. Government is NEVER the solution. More stimulus = more zero jobs created. Remember, in return for adding nearly $3 trillion in federal debt in two years, we still have 14.9 million unemployed Americans, millions more if you count the underemployed and those no longer looking for work.

But I have a suggestion. Obama, are you listening? There is a great deal you and Congress can do to alleviate the job-killing consequences of excessive regulation, and the need for action is now. Remove EVERY regulation all governmental bodies have enacted in the last 8 years. Simply get rid of them, declare them not on the books. You know the power of the Executive Order, since you use it willy nilly. You can wave that magic EO wand and declare them Gone.

Then get out of the way and watch private industry, large and small businesses and Americans take off and save this economy.

BIG BLACK GOVERNMENT BUS ABSENT THE AMERICAN FLAG

Well, President Disaster, sure got a lot of mileage out of his Big, Black Tour Buses, didn't he? Two buses purchased to haul him and his entourage around on a Not-A-Campaign-Bus-Tour, where Obama spouted off and made promises that he's now "going to concentrate on creating jobs," (how many times has he promised that?), while riding in cool comfort on Black Buses that were built for him in CANADA! Not built by an American company with a branch in Canada, but a real, true Canadian company with ties to Sweden and Volvo.

Now if there were no bus manufacturers left in the U.S., because there's a mass exodus of jobs and companies out of the U.S, (which I will write about in another post, especially Pres. Disaster's friend, GE), then the decision to purchase foreign might make some sense.

But here's the reality. There are at least two American manufacturers of tour buses/motor coaches. They are MCI and Eagle. They both manufacture buses/coaches for many well known tour/transit companies like Trailways, Gray Line, Greyhound, and others. I'm sure these two companies would have been thrilled to build and equip $2.2 million worth of taxpayer-paid-for-buses purchased for U. S. Government use.

Instead, the Disaster in the White House decides to purchase his "green" motorized vehicles from Prevost, a bus manufacturer building buses only in Quebec. And what is he doing with this $2.2 million dollar expenditure? He's traveling around on an energy hog, gas guzzling, air polluting tour bus, promoting himself at taxpayer expense, while he demands that we drive electric tin can cars and forces the government to subsidize the death traps at $7500 a piece.

But hey, it must be okay. Canada was the beneficiary of our magnanimous gift, and they are a U. S. ally, so it's hunky dory, A-OK, don't you agree? Even though Americans are screaming for good American jobs IN AMERICA! And even though Mr. Disaster has made a multitude of "I'm going to concentrate on jobs" speeches, all with no result.

I call this a Slap In The Face to every jobless American, those newly unemployed and those who have been looking for 3-4 years or more, those who have had to take less pay, fewer hours, lost your homes, are living on the streets or in homeless shelters, everyone who's been affected by this miserable administration's inability to put you back to work. What An Insult To All Of You! Remember this when November 2012 arrives.

Oh, yeah, one more thing. Where the heck is the American Flag?? Oh, I forgot, Patriotism is not Politically Correct in Mr. Disaster's world.

THE "IT'S NOT A POLITICAL BUS TOUR," POLITICAL BUS TOUR

Mr. Obama seems to be unable to tell the truth. He is on a "bus tour" that he claims is not a campaign tour. C'mon, Mr. O., the American people are not as stupid as you'd like to think we are. You are touring four "battleground" Midwest states, "swing states" that you know are independent and could vote either way in 2012. But nothing new here. USA Today reported on July 17 that half of the travels Mr. O. made to 40 states in the last 2.5 years were to "swing states." These states will likely determine the winner of the presidential race in 2012. Mr. O stated today in one of his non-campaign campaign speeches, "I know it's not election season yet, but..." That sure sounds like campaigning to me.

Who does he blame for the current U.S. economy and the S & P downgrade of our credit rating? Well, he blamed the Japan earthquake, he blamed the Arab Spring unrest, he blamed the Republicans for acting badly, and he blamed a host of other things. He didn't, however, point the finger back at His Highness, where the finger pointing truly belongs.

Policies in place for incumbent presidents running for re-election are based on legal opinions from the DOJ and FEC which say that "taxpayers should cover the cost of official presidential travel, while travel relating to the campaign will be reimbursed to the government through campaign funds." There's plenty of campaign money already in Obama's coffers. He shouldn't get away with sucking up taxpayer funds that taxpayers don't have. Remember our 9.2% unemployment rate, our miserable economic growth, gyrating financial markets, our credit down grade, our HUGE national debt? But Mr. O. sees nothing wrong with stealing public money for campaigning, and Chicago politics prevail again.

Did he have any new ideas in his speeches today? Well, he trumpeted more spending on "infrastructure" to put people back to work. Something like his "shovel ready jobs" he promoted in 2008. But wait, I seem to recall his stating recently that the 2008 "shovel ready jobs weren't as shovel ready as we thought." New idea? No, just more of the same old tax and spend.

You will probably see him as he enters and exits the shiny new buses he and his entourage are traveling in. Do you know what they cost? $1.1 million dollars EACH. They were newly purchased by the Secret Service for the purpose of "busing" the president around on his non-campaign bus tour. I can hardly wait until the total cost of his "meeting with Americans" trip is tallied, that we will collectively pay for: hotels, food, transportation, gasoline for 150 vehicles, choppers, security at approximately $1 million per day, and a myriad of other costs. He has no remorse or shame.

It appears to me that he is always campaigning and never governing. He promises great unity (remember, he said he would unite the country), but he promotes partisanship by blaming everyone and everything for his failures.

What's he going to do when he returns to Washington? The Obama family will be leaving for a 10 day vacation to Martha's Vineyard. Well, thank God it's not some foreign country which would cost us more millions. But I, for one, am sick of paying for his four year vacation. But on the other hand, maybe it's good that's he's not in Washington doing yet more damage.

DEER IN THE HEADLIGHTS

In a Wed. press conference after the historic Democratic losses nationwide, Obama dismissed the suggestion that voters loudly spurned his entire agenda. He stated that had unemployment gone down to 5% the electorate would have LOVED Obamanomics.

Obama made an effort to act contrite. He attempted to be remorseful. He pretended to eat some humble pie. He even said the Dems took a "shellacking." But a phony is a phony is a phony no matter what sermon he's preaching. The deer-in-the-headlights-stare was alive and well. And I'm not buying any of it.

He is so far out of touch with the American electorate that he might as well be living on Mars. Obamanomics, Obamacare, TARP, stimulus plan, the buy outs, bail outs, give away programs, staggering government debt, the feds monetizing that debt, another $600 billion money-printing-bail-out trick today (in case you haven't heard about it yet), back-door deals, pay-to-play tricks, sleazy politics, union deals -- But Obama thinks the "shellacking" was because of unemployment.

Today the Old-New CA Governor Jerry Brown said Americans just may have to get used to high unemployment and those people who have jobs will have to pay for a big share of the population to just sit round and collect checks. And this is what passes for the Democrat's vision for the future. Hey, California, are you happy with your Old-New Governor's plan to create jobs?

The last two years were excruciating arrogance and I-don't-care-what-the-voters-want, and the next two years look like they will be excruciating stupidity and I-don't-care-what-the-voters-want.

REMEMBER! We have to finish cleaning house in 2012, and 2012 is right around the corner

SHOVEL READY JOBS? YEAH, YOU BETCH'A

Well, well, Obama fessed up yesterday. He believes there is no such thing as a "shovel-ready job."

But wait, you say, wasn't "shovel-ready" jobs one of Obama's and the Dem's main selling points while shoving the stimulus package down our throats? That's all we heard on TV was how the almost $1 trillion will go immediately to "shovel-ready" jobs and will so stimulate the economy that unemployment won't go above 8.5%. In fact, Obama pledged that his "bold agenda" of "shovel-ready projects" would create 2.5 million new jobs. I got so sick of hearing the "shovel-ready" term that I wanted to hit someone with a shovel! Because I didn't believe a word of it.

And months later when the economy hadn't started to turn around Obama said it again. And months after that he bragged about it again stating that stimulus money helped fund "100 shovel-ready projects.... which are beginning to create jobs." And Biden's hum-drum has been the same spurious deception.

But after 2 years and unemployment not moving under 9.5%, and probably more like 17% when under employed and the aren't-looking-anymore are counted, Obama finally admits his own Stupidity. Or is it his Lack of Experience? Or maybe he's just Inept?

"THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS SHOVEL-READY PROJECTS." Those are Obama's exact words.

We Doubters knew it all along. Want my opinion? I think the Pretender President should be impeached and tried for treason. He's not fit to be a dog catcher, much less the President of the U.S. He ran for office trying to convince the American public he had a brain. He obviously doesn't.

OBAMA KNOWS IT'S NOW OR NEVER

Agenda, we all know what that means. And that is exactly what Obama and the liberal progressives in Washington/Congress had when they took control of our government. And here we are, two years into their "agenda," and they have pushed through the most damaging package of legislation in American history.

There's Obamacare which puts the feds in charge of 1/6 of our economy, driving prices up, driving competition out, and driving quality down. A bill that Nancy Pelosi said we'd have to read to know what was in it. A bill that adds 17,000 new IRS agents to administer the monstrosity. A bill that most in Washington didn't read before voting to pass it.

There's the one trillion dollar "stimulus" bill that miserably failed to reduce unemployment, but instead increased it. A bill that contained billions of dollars in wasteful spending and thousands of pork projects. A bill that almost everyone in Washington didn't read before voting for it.

There's the supposed financial "reform" bill regulating every aspect of our financial life and imposing massive fees (can you say "taxes") on everything we do financially. A bill that its sponsor, Sen. Chris Dodd (D-CT), admits are "unknown" and stated that he didn't read it before voting for it. For Crying Out Loud, he sponsored it and he doesn't know what's in it?

And then there's creation of DEBT on a scale unknown in the history of the entire world.
No one can comprehend what the consequence of this massive debt will be on Americans and future generations. They have put us on a mad dash to economic ruin.

AND SO IT'S "NOW OR NEVER," AND THE HANDWRITING IS ON THE WALL.

They know how angry Americans are, and they realize their power will be gone in January when a new Congress will be seated.

But the Obama Fantasy Cruise has other things they'd like to bring on board before the ship sinks.

Cap and Trade, which is nothing more than a license to cheat and steal. This will include additional bans on any and all oil drilling in the U.S. It will cost families thousands of dollars a year in taxes and cost more than a million jobs.

Amnesty for illegal aliens disguised as "comprehensive immigration reform." This will keep taxpayers shelling out billions in social services costs, create millions of new "liberal" voters, and encourage millions more illegals to stream across our borders and wait for the next "amnesty."

Value Added Tax (VAT). This is a tax added to everything produced in this country at every stage of production. It is a huge tax for all Americans. It's another convoluted tax added to the already convoluted confiscatory tax system we currently have.

Card Check. Obama and the Liberals want this badly. It's a plan to take away secret ballots in elections where workers decide whether to unionize. Non-secret ballots create a climate of intimidation and coercion, forcing non-union workers to vote for unionization to avoid harassment.

And Obama and the Liberals know It's Now Or Never. They know they will lose their majorities with the November elections. But the newly elected representatives won't be seated until January.

BEWARE, November to January is considered the "Lame Duck Session." These sessions are typically for minor legislation that didn't get done in the regular session or for big legislation that has wide support from both parties and Americans.

But in this case it's a time for Obama and the Liberals to bring on board everything on their wish list because they know It's Now Or Never.

And there is nothing Americans can do to stop it except put pressure on current elected officials not to further destroy this country by pushing through a raft of far-reaching laws that will increase our debt, regulate, tax and more deeply annihilate our economy.

Stop The Obama Pelosi Train

November is crucial to our survival! The stakes are higher this year than ever before. We have the opportunity to stop the Obama/Pelosi train by electing conservative candidates to Congress.

And make no mistake, Obama just wrapped up a three-day fundraising swing raising millions of dollars to directly elect new Democrats or re-elect incumbents who will rubber stamp his disastrous agenda. You know the smears against conservatives will increase as November approaches. Any lie or half truth the Obama/Dems can come up with will be used to undermine opposition candidates.

Don't fall for the political lies, fabrications and exaggerations they will be trying to sell you. Don't lose sight of what the election is really about -- ever enlarging government, out of control spending that will bankrupt us, sleazy back door politics, buy outs, bail outs, vote buying, fraud, deceit, sky-high unemployment, a health care bill that few Americans wanted, stagnant economy, tax hikes, potential Cap and Tax, Card Check, the Apology Foreign Policy, you name it, we've got it or we're going to get it shoved down our collective throats. And America is on a course for disaster.

With Obama's failed leadership the next generation will inherit a very weakened country, drug cartels in Mexico murdering Americans in our border states, Tax cartels in Washington taking ever more of your hard earned dollars, and weak foreign policy that invites another 9-11.

Don't Let This Happen. Vote in November.

GM fires American ad agency, hires France

Don't know if you all knew this when it happened early summer, but the advertising agency that brought us such memorable ad campaigns as "See the USA in Your Chevrolet" and "Like A Rock" has been fired by General Motors. Fired after 90 years of work for GM.

Campbell-Ewald is headquartered in Warren, MI (suburb of Detroit) in an area hardest hit by unemployment and job loss. GM has hired Publicis Worldwide, a French advertising company.

Remember, some of GM's upper management was put in place by the Obama Auto Czar to help turn the company around and create American jobs. Since the USA owns 61% of GM I would expect that the Auto Czar would have to sign off on this type of change at GM.

And the point is? Our tax dollars are now going to a French advertising company. Wonder how many French jobs will be created and how many American jobs will be lost?

Do you think Obama and Crew cares about us? Think again.

Stimulus Slush Fund

The Stimulus Bill was $862 billion. It was guaranteed to "create or save" a million jobs and keep unemployment below 8%. Those were Obama's "selling points." Actually, I consider his words political propaganda, Obama spin, falsehoods, misleading, and outright lies. Even top economists have said "create or save" means nothing because it is virtually impossible to measure how many jobs are "saved." It's all smoke and mirrors from Obama and crew.

Unemployment is at 9.7% and the economy continues to shed jobs rapidly. And where is all of the Stimulus money being spent to "create or save" jobs? Let me give you just a few examples of the hundreds of egregious examples of horrific government waste of OUR MONEY:

$90,000 to build a sidewalk leading to a ditch that leads to nowhere

$5,000 per person subsidy to purchase electric golf carts

$150,000 for a water park

$200,00 to help Siberian communities lobby Russia

$5 million to create a geothermal energy system at a shopping mall in Tennessee that "has been losing tenants for years and is mostly empty"

$500,000 to Arizona State University to study the genetic makeup of ants

$145,000 to Wake Forest University for a project to see how monkeys react under the influence of cocaine

$1.2 million to convert an abandoned train station in New Jersey into a museum

$233,000 to the University of California at San Diego to study why Africans don't vote. This created 12 jobs, and 7 of them are Africans in Africa

$762,372 for a Georgia Tech assistant professor to "study improvised music" and "hopefully also create satisfying works of art"

$390,000 to the State University of New York at Buffalo to study young adults who drink malt liquor and smoke marijuana

$554,76 to replace windows at a visitor center at Mt. St. Helen in Washington State that has been closed since 2007. The US Forest Service has no plans to reopen it

$210,000 to the University of Hawaii to study the learning patterns of honey bees

Several million dollars to create and install thousands of signs nationwide touting the stimulus project

and the most appropriate one?

$700,000 to develop a joke machine

Most appropriate because THE JOKE'S ON EVERYONE WHO VOTED FOR THIS OBAMANATION!

These are just some of the 100 most wasteful, reckless stimulus spending "projects" as reported by Senator Coburn and Senator McCain. (Google this and check it out)

So VP Biden hits the road and is currently travelling between states trying to convince us that this is the "Recovery Summer."

Washington thinks we are so stupid we will accept everything they do, like sheep to the slaughter.

Let's show 'em in November. VOTE THESE PEOPLE OUT! Democrat, Republican, Independent, I don't care who it is. If their voting record shows they have supported the Obama/Pelosi/Reid big-spending agenda, then they have to go. And if the new crew that gets voted in doesn't do what we want, let's Vote Them Out also. Short of an all out revolution it's the only power we have, the ballot box. Voting is a privilege, it's a right, and it's our duty. SO LET'S DO IT.

Will Work For Food - A Job Please?

This morning the jobless report came out - another 500,000 first time claims were filed last week. I thought the Stimulus Bill was supposed to solve the jobless issue? But let's look at the stats. 18 months ago the Stimulus Bill passed at a cool $787 billion, but including interest on that debt the total comes to over one trillion dollars. 18 months later this is what we have: Unemployment hovering at 9.6%; around 7 million unemployed for 6 months of longer; 17 states have unemployment over 10%; around 4 million jobs lost since the Stimulus Bill was signed; 21% of homes in America are underwater with more owed than they are worth; 27 million are underemployed; home prices are down anywhere from 30-50% depending on where they are located; and Obama has spent even more - 34 billion on extending unemployment; 26 billion bailing out teachers and unions; 3 billion for home mortgage help and a myriad of other spending bills that have driven our debt over 10 trillion. And unemployment is still at 9.6%.

I would like to tell Obama and crew, IT'S NOT WORKING! STOP SPENDING!!

But then, I'm just an American citizen. Why would they listen to anything I have to say?
