WHY don’t I recognize my country?  We punish what we should honor and honor what we should punish.   We remove God from everywhere and then wonder why God is nowhere. 

The IRS has acted criminally in its persecution of Tea Party groups, Conservatives, Pro-life groups, Pro-Israel groups, Pro-traditional marriage groups, anti-abortion groups and others, but the woman in charge of overseeing these groups’ applications gets a promotion to oversee Obamacare and another pleads her Fifth Amendment right to silence and then gets put on administrative leave while getting full pay and benefits. 

Obama praised Occupy Wall street groups who trashed streets and businesses, raped participants, defecated in public, rioted, used drugs, shut down entire streets, business and parks, and committed murdered, yet he had nothing but contempt for Tea Party groups who gathered respectfully, cleaned up after their rallies, were polite and courteous and used restrooms like civilized human beings.  No murders, no rapes, no riots, no drugs.  Not good enough for Obama, though.  His administration and Democrats on The Hill labeled them “Terrorists” and said they were the “greatest threat to the U.S” and then sent the IRS and other government agencies out to silence them. 

Eric The Withholder spies on the Associated Press and Fox News’s James Rosen for supposedly receiving leaked information, but he does nothing when CIA Director Panetta leaks classified information to the producer of the movie Zero Dark Thirty or when Obamabots leak other classified information.

Obama was willing to send in Navy Seals who risked their lives to kill Osama Bin Laden, yet refused to give the order to answer the plea for help from Benghazi, allowing four Americans to be murdered.   Americans almost immediately saw photos of a concentrating Obama on the night of the Bin Laden raid, but no one can even find out where the heck he was the night of the Benghazi raid.  He talked to the National Security advisor once, around 5:25, and then was missing in action.  Four Americans died, he didn’t care, and then he sent Susan Rice out to lie about it.  Now she’s his new National Security Advisor.  That sure gives me a lot of confidence that our national security is in good hands.

Then there’s the Romeike family from Germany.  They were granted asylum in our country until Erick Holder repealed it, and now he wants them deported.  All they want to do is home school their kids in a Christian setting, which isn’t allowed in Germany, and they are being thrown out of America because of it.  Yet Holder sees nothing wrong with 11 million illegal immigrants being granted immunity and given a path to citizenship. 

Obama refuses to call Nidal Hasan a terrorist when he murders 14 unarmed soldiers while yelling Allahu Akbar, but he treats us like terrorists by spying on our phone calls, emails, social sites, and molests and strip searches us every time we get on an airplane. 

Obama thinks that a 12 year old is adult enough to get morning after abortion pills without parental knowledge but a 26 year old is child enough to need Obamacare and remain on their parents’ health insurance. 

The President thinks he can take away the Second Amendment rights of millions of people who have never broken the law, yet he thought it was a good idea to give guns to Mexican drug dealers who used them to kill thousands of innocent Mexicans and a U.S. border agent. 

The same President wants to close Gitmo because the living conditions are not nice enough for terrorists, yet he orders drones to vaporize American citizens abroad who have not been charged with a crime.  Seems Obama has forgotten about Due Process.

He calls an NBA player and congratulates him for announcing he’s a homosexual, but he doesn’t call Tim Tebow for announcing he’s a Christian.

Obama announces, “God bless Planned Parenthood,” but said nothing when the Gosnel Abortion clinic was murdering babies born alive by snipping their spinal cords.

He sends in armed SWAT teams and treated workers at Gibson Guitars like drug dealers or gun runners because they used an imported wood the government said was illegal.  So far it has cost Gibson Guitars over two million dollars to fight its own government, and over a million dollars of government confiscated wood has never been returned to them.  This illegally imported wood was the same wood being used by Martin Guitars.  Martin Guitars was not raided by armed SWAT and FBI teams, no wood was confiscated, Martin Guitars never even got a letter from the government about their illegal importation of the wood.  The difference?  Gibson’s CEO gave money to the Republicans and Martin’s CEO gave money to President Obama.   It’s easy to see the targeting doesn’t stop with the IRS.

Nixon was impeached for spying on a single office in the Watergate complex and sic’ing the IRS on his political enemies.  Obama is spying on millions of Americans and sic’ing the IRS, EPA, FBI, ATF and other government goons on anyone who dares to oppose him.

Is it just me?  Or do you feel like something is rotten in America?  

2010 - OBAMA ADMINISTRATION VOWED TO "PUNISH" ENEMIES, AND SO IT CAME TO PASS

In 2010 Obama made this statement to roaring crowds. "We're gonna punish our enemies and we're gonna reward our friends."  Valerie Jarrett, longtime senior Obama advisor, Queen of the White House, said it like this.  “After we win this election, it’s our turn. Payback time. Everyone not with us is against us, and they better be ready because we don’t forget. The ones who helped us will be rewarded, the ones who opposed us will get what they deserve. There is going to be hell to pay.”  Ah, Obama and Valerie, you looked into your crystal balls and told us what the IRS and your other henchmen had in store for us, the lowly, uninformed, unprepared, helpless-against-you American public.  You are such a predictor of the future.

Still think Obama and his stooges didn't know what the IRS, EPA, OSHA, ATF, FBI and a host of other Obama departments were doing when they "targeted" Tea Party, Conservative and Religious groups?   Pull your head out of the sand.  They TOLD US what the intended to do, in their own words.  I predict that Obama's "punish our enemies and reward our friends" approach to governing will be the sad, pathetic legacy of the Obama presidency.  He will go down in history as the first "Black" president.  Rah, Rah.  But he will also go down in history as the "Worst Most Divisive" president ever.

What do you call members of Obama's Cabinet and administration?  Dishonest, corrupt, immoral, unethical, crooked, shady, fraudulent, perverted, warped, tainted, twisted, unlawful, devious, unscrupulous, deceitful, underhanded, but most of all, ILLEGAL.  Such as departing EPA chief, Lisa Jackson, who created secret phony email address accounts for the express purpose of avoiding having to turn over public documents under the Freedom of Information Act.  She thought she could take care of Obama's rat infested business under a phony name and no one would know about it.  Thanks to the Associated Press, usually an Obama Good Buddy, for turning over the rock that hid Jackson's actions.  Talk about Rats infesting the White House, they are multiplying in droves getting ready for the next four years.  Thanks, Obama voters, for giving us such a "transparent, honest" administration, just what he promised all you Lemmings.

To My Readers, I found a very cool place on The Heritage Foundation web site.  It's called Tales of the Red Tape.  It itemizes the most egregious Red Tape items, things that will cost consumers and taxpayers and businesses millions of dollars, prime examples of Government intrusion into our lives.  Some will make you laugh, some will make you cry, all will make you shake your head and realize Obama's regulators are imbeciles.  I will bring these to you periodically as we wade our way through the lunacy.

Images of bloodless corpses and gasping babies would have to cover at least 50 percent of each cigarette pack under regulation proposed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Although smoking rates have declined steadily for the past 40 years—down 52 percent since 1965—and every kindergartner can recite the evils of tobacco use, the FDA claims that current warnings are “ineffective.”

According to the agency, there’s a “worldwide consensus” that tobacco health warnings should feature pictures of dead people. At least that’s the practice in the progressive places cited by the agency, including the Cook Islands, Djibouti, Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Latvia, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mongolia, Pakistan, Panama, Paraguay, and Romania.

Given teens’ current obsession with all things zombie, the gruesome images will likely prove highly popular as collector’s items.

MOUNTAIN PLAZA RECEIVES EPA GRANT, THEN POOF, IT'S GONE

Mountain Plaza truck stop in Dandridge, TN was given an Obama EPA stimulus grant of $424,000. The grant was part of $2 million dollars that TN DOT received from the Obama EPA as part of the Recovery Act of 2009. The money was for a truck-stop electrification project. The system allows truckers to hook up to air conditioning and electricity so they could shut down their engines and “wouldn’t burn diesel fuel while resting.” The project was funded by the EPA for the purpose of reducing the use of diesel fuel and cleaning up the TN air – another “Green Project” from the Obama administration.

Mountain Plaza’s owner is Ricky Hugo Lewis. Here’s a timeline which should make you go ballistic.

In 2002 Lewis was convicted of 31 counts of theft stemming from flawed sales tax returns he filed for a business he owned in the 1990s. He was found guilty, was placed on probation for 8 years, and he was ordered to reimburse the state nearly $70,000.

In 2003 Mountain Plaza and the Lewises filed for bankruptcy separately. Their debts again included local, state and federal taxes. They emerged from that bankruptcy in 2005.

In 2010, while still on probation, Lewis was indicted for writing worthless checks, including several for more than $10,000 each. This is important. Understand this. Lewis was still on probation and the worthless check charges were still pending when Obama/EPA/TN DOT approved the grant to his company, Mountain Plaza.
On May, 2010 U.S. Bank sued Lewis, his wife and Mountain Plaza because they failed to repay a $2 million dollar loan that was supposed to be used to refinance the truck stop.

On June 3, 2010 Mountain Plaza filed for bankruptcy. Debts included $18,000 owed to the IRS, $5,000 owed to the TN Dept. of Labor, $35,000 owed to the TN Dept. of Revenue, and $17,312 owed to Jefferson County.

On July 2, 2010 a state tax lien was filed against the company.
Focus on these dates, Folks. Here’s the worst of it.
Mountain Plaza applied for the $424,000 “grant” in September, 2009.

In December, 2009 Mountain Plaza received an “award letter,” basically a letter approving of the funding.

On May 18, 2010 contracts were executed and TN DOT sent them to the TN Dept. of Finance for approval.

On June 15, 2010 the funds were handed over to Rick and Bonnie Lewis, AKA Mountain Plaza. This is 12 DAYS after the company filed for bankruptcy.

In October, 2010 the TN DOT finally learned about Mountain Plaza’s bankruptcy.
Now the shiny new equipment languishes uselessly at the vacated site as U. S. Bank took possession of the bankrupt business after a sheriff’s auction at the County Courthouse failed to produce not even one interested bidder.

A review of public records would have exposed Mountain Plaza and the Lewises to the EPA and the TN DOT. Good Grief, anyone with a half a brain can Google Mountain Plaza, Rick H. Lewis or Bonnie L. Lewis. There’s a treasure trove of information readily available. But the EPA failed to do the most basic research before giving away almost a half million taxpayer dollars.

TN DOT spokeswoman B. J. Doughty admitted that “EPA did not require financial or criminal background checks or information to be disclosed on grant applications.” Well, of course not, because this was another “Green Project.” It sure is easy to be sloppy when it’s someone else’s money you are giving away.

But if any other American wanted a grant or wanted to borrow that much money you’d have to sign over your first born child, pledge your right arm, your left leg, both feet, and your life, along with every asset you currently have or expect to have in the future, and then sign the paperwork in blood. And you’d still be swiftly turned down. That is unless Obama considers your project “Green.”

Let’s call this what it is – more of Montezuma’s Revenge oozing from the putrid bowels of The White House.

TENNESSEE TRUCK STOP SURPRISE

THE JOBS PRESIDENT IS AT IT AGAIN

Do you know the latest way The Jobs President is going to create jobs? Get ready, this is such exciting news!

According to The Dialy Caller, The Jobs President’s EPA is hiring 230,000 new bureaucrats to implement the EPA’s new greenhouse gas regulations.

But hold on just a minute, the EPA has said that the new greenhouse gas regulations are “absurd” in application and “impossible to administer” by the EPA’s target date of 2016. But the idiots running the EPA still want taxpayers to pay for 230,000 bodies who will be needed in an “attempt” to implement the new rules.

Cost to the taxpayer?? A cool $21 billion.

Where did the new regulations come from? Well, remember Cap and Trade? Obama and Company were not able to get it through Congress. It was soundly rejected by both Dems and Reps as a huge jobs killer and too expensive. So Obama performed a backdoor magic trick and proposed the Clean Air Act, which passed Congress when the Dems were in control. The Clean Air Act does not give the EPA explicit power to regulate greenhouse gas emissions, but the EPA is doing it anyway. Thankfully the authority of the EPA to move forward is being challenged in court. The argument is that greenhouse gas emission decisions should be up to Congress, not a bunch of highly paid bureaucrats in the EPA.

As of right now there are approximately 14,000 big businesses who have to comply with current EPA emission standards and must get permits and complete extra paperwork to operate. If the EPA new greenhouse gas emissions standards are left in place the number of businesses forced into a regulatory nightmare would grow to as many as 6.1 million. Well, that’s sure going to create lots of jobs. Gee, do you think companies will move overseas to avoid the strong armed sledge hammer of the EPA?

And the $21 billion dollar figure to hire the required 230,000 regulators? That figure does NOT include the economic cost of the regulations themselves.

Government jobs are the only kind of jobs The Jobs President knows how to create. From Jan. 2008 to the middle of 2010 the private sector lost around 7.9 million jobs, but the public sector gained 590,000. From Feb 2009 when the Obama stimulus bill was passed to the middle of 2010 the private sector lost more than 2.6 million jobs, but government positions grew by 400,000.

One more end-run around from the Obama EPA playbook. They have now banned over-the-counter asthma inhalers because of environmental concerns. What used to cost asthmatic Americans about $20 will not cost them over $60 because the only way to get the required EPA inhaler is by prescription.

And don’t forget the EPA ban on light bulbs. This little dittie drove light bulb manufacturing to China. There are no companies making bulbs in the U.S. any longer. Have you priced the new “required” bulb? Be ready for a shock. You can thank the Bush administration for this one.

And how many jobs have been lost due to protection of some snail or plant or wetland for decades and through many administrations?

But The Jobs President wants to raise taxes and spend more on “infrastructure” and establish a government run “infrastructure bank” to produce jobs.

But hey, Mr. Jobs Guy, you would generate lots more jobs simply by reigning in your EPA-Gone-Wild. But I won't hold my air-polluting breath.

OBAMA LIED, OIL DIED IN ALASKA

Yesterday Shell Oil announced that is must scrap efforts to drill for oil in the Arctic Ocean off the Alaskan coast. The Reason? Obama's EPA Environmental Appeals Board is refusing to issue air permits to Shell.

Shell has spent 5 years and $4 billion getting ready to drill for oil in the Alaskan waters. The estimated 27 billion barrels of oil represents 2 1/2 times more oil than has flowed down the Alaskan pipeline in the last 30 years. Because production on the North Slope of Alaska is declining at about 7% a year, and the pipeline is currently carrying 1/3 of its capacity, the pipeline will have to shut down at some point. The Shell drilling plan was intended to produce enough oil to keep the Alaskan Pipeline open for decades to come.

The reason the EPA-EAB said NO? They believe that "emissions from an ice-breaking vessel may cause greenhouse gas emissions" from the project. The closest village, Kaktovik, Alaska, is one of the most remote places in the U.S. The population is 245, the village is 1 square mile, and it is 70 miles away from the proposed off-shore drilling site.

The EAB issuing this rule has four members. All are registered Democrats, and one of the members, Kathie Stein, was an activist attorney for the Environmental Defense Fund prior to being appointed to the EAB. That tells you all you need to know about her. Members of the EAB are appointed by the EPA administrator, who is appointed by Obama.

So the next time you fill your vehicle with gas, thank Rogue Obama and his soldiers. Be sure to place the blame where it belongs. Don't be fooled by the Justice Department committee he's appointing to make sure the American people don't get scammed by someone on Wall Street, you know, speculators, oil companies, hedge funds, etc. Obama lies. He knows it isn't their fault. After all, he passed the Financial Reform bill that was supposed to stop Wall Street shenanigans.

And don't be swayed by the "record profits" the oil companies are making. Their profit margin is around 7.4%, not an unreasonable expectation for a company. While the profit margin on an IPad is about 46%, just to put things in perspective (yes, forty six percent). If PBO goes after the oil companies for excess profits, what do you think he should do to Apple? Oh, probably nothing, Apple and Steve Jobs are HUGE contributors to the Democrats and Obama in particular.

The biggest scammer in Washington is Obama, the Let's Kill Oil King. This action sanctioned by PBO himself, along with the Print More Money policy of Bernanke and PBO, will drive investments, oil production and many, many thousands of jobs overseas. Then we can get out the checkbook and write a great big American check to purchase what we should be drilling for right here. And in the meantime, thousands more will have to draw unemployment because Obama has failed miserably at creating any jobs except to hire 200,000 more robots in Washington.

And while this Kill Oil action is taking place, all of us will continue to Pay At The Pump. Just wait until it gets to $5 or more per gallon.
