PROSSER VS KLOPPENBURG ON APRIL 5

PROSSER VS. KLOPPENBURG – THE TRUTH. NEW INFORMATION 3/31/2011. Kloppenberg has never been a judge. She has been turned down for a judge position four (4) times, twice by Dem. Jim Doyle, her former boss. She claims to have "broad legal experience." But she has repeatedly stated she's been a DNR attorney for the last 22 years going after homeowners and businesses on behalf of the DNR. She was a state prosecutor, but she freely admits, "I've never said I was tough on crime." She says she's "independent and impartial," but she is directly linked to outside interest groups and unions who are dumping millions into WI in support of her campaign in the expectation of stopping Gov. Walker's Budget Repair Bill when it arrives at the Supreme Court level. PLEASE, PLEASE VOTE ON 4/5 FOR JUSTICE PROSSER. I CAN'T STRESS ENOUGH HOW IMPORTANT YOUR VOTE WILL BE. AS OF TODAY POLLS SHOW THEM NECK AND NECK. POST FROM 3/28. Supreme Court Justice Prosser has been endorsed by 206 law enforcement/elected officials. Kloppenburg has been endorsed by 43. Prosser has been endorsed by 77 members of the senate/assembly. Kloppenburg has been endorsed by five. Many current Democrats are not endorsing her. Prosser has been endorsed by many newspapers and associations. Kloppenburg has been endorsed by one. Prosser has decades of judicial experience. Kloppenburg has 21 years as a prosecutor, most of that time representing the DNR in cases that target homeowners. She has never been a judge. Kloppenburg described as “wonderful” a decision by the court that told a woman she couldn’t build a deck on the back of her house. She wants an iron fisted policy regarding land use, piers and water rights. She has been at the center of opposing WI legislative efforts to rein in the power of the DNR. Kloppenburg accepted a campaign contribution from the husband of Judge Maryann Sumi, the liberal judge who blocked Walker’s Budget Repair Bill. She surely has not remained “independent” on this issue, even though she claims she has. And she has stated she would NOT recuse herself from ruling on any issues involving the unions or the Budget Repair Bill. And now the lawyers are all for Kloppenburg and are attempting to remove Prosser from the Supreme Court. Guess why? Four years ago when WI government was completely controlled by Democrats, the Assembly and Senate both passed extensive “Tort Reform.” Gov. Doyle vetoed that bill. Now both houses passed the tort reform bill again, and this time Gov. Walker signed it. So the lawyers are spittin’ mad. But this bill is necessary to restore sanity to the legal system in WI. The bill brings WI’s rules on product liability and admissibility of expert testimony in line with the more strict rules applied in federal courts. It contains many other changes that will benefit WI when companies are deciding where to locate. They don’t locate in states where there is a repressive legal system. And if you see any ads anywhere accusing Prosser of being soft on sex offenders, it’s a lie. Look it up. Make sure you separate the chaff from the wheat when you vote on April 5. It is imperative that you treat this election like a presidential election unless you want the WI Supreme Court controlled by activists who will legislate from the bench. The term is for 10 years. We can't afford an activist court for 10 years. The first thing they will do is rule the Walker's Budget Bill is "out." IT'S NOT ABOUT THE LAW! IT'S ABOUT POLITICS. Vote Prosser on April 5. WAIVER-MANIA -- ALIVE AND WELL

Obamacare haunted the 11-2-10 election, and it isn't going to go away gracefully by 2012, much as Obama wishes it would.

Fox News has found that buried deep in the HHS website is a report that Obama has granted 111 health care waivers to large companies and many unions that will exempt them from Obamacare. Unions such as SEIU, IBEW, IBUAP, teachers' union, over 350,000 union members exempt. Don't forget, the unions already got a big Cadillac care exemption when the bill was passed. AND IT'S PAYBACK TIME IN OBAMAVILLE AGAIN!

The criteria for a company to win a waiver? (a) whether their premiums would go up; (b) whether complying with the mandate would cut off their employees' access to health care.

Whoa, wait a minute. During the campaign Obama said he would not "coddle Wall Street at the expense of Main Street." But then he flips out and grants some of the largest companies in America health care reform waivers. That means these companies will not be subjected to his administrations biggest "accomplishment," Obamacare.

Sounds unfair? You decide. Small companies cannot afford to hire expensive lawyers and lobbyists to fight for their own waiver, so they will have to comply with the law. Americans who don't want to buy health care coverage? Too bad! The IRS punishes them with a big tax penalty if they don't comply with the law. How much has your premium gone up? 10%? 25%? 40%? Premiums up instead of down? Did Obama lie to us or did he just have no clue?

And here we go again, it's another huge job killer bill from Obama. These I'll-Give-You-A-Special-Deal-Waivers are indicative of how ill conceived this law was in the first place. Disastrous? You bet, but Pelosi claimed you had to pass it to see what was in it. Well, now we know. It's being written as we go. DISGRACEFUL? Yes, but very predictable.

FORECLOSURE FOLLY GETS DOWN AND DIRTY

Courts, borrowers and lawyers are in for a mucky dip in the MUD. And the only ones who will make a clean get away are the lawyers. The Foreclosure Folly mess is ripe for lawyerly enrichment to the max.

A number of large lenders have suspended foreclosure proceedings in 25 states, and that number is growing. It seems like the lenders have hired "Robo Signers" to execute foreclosure paperwork, they were so anxious to get their hands on your house. Now wouldn't you think that the banks would have enough sense to hire people who actually know what a Promissory Note is, or what a Mortgagee is, or what a Notary is? But no, the banks hired construction workers, food service workers, hospitality service workers, and many others who had zero, zippo experience in the financial industry. They hired these people to "Robo" sign documents to facilitate foreclosure proceedings against homeowners, gave them little or no training and put them behind a desk with the POWER OF KEEPING A ROOF OVER YOUR HEAD IN THEIR HANDS.

There has been sworn testimony by some of the "Robo" signers that they signed many thousands of documents per month, submitting affidavits that confirmed the accuracy of the information in those documents, but that they had in fact not verified any of the information. Basically their job was lickety split and full speed ahead with foreclosures.

Now for a look at the bigger picture. What were bank regulators doing while mischief and mayhem were in full swing? And while the biggest lenders in the U. S. routinely filed false foreclosure documents in courthouses throughout the country? Well, in the case of one large bank it turns out that the FDIC (Federal Deposit Insurance Corp) was running the scam. This explains why the banking industry got away with such grievous misbehaviour for so long. The government was doing it too, even though the government was charged with preventing just such a romp in the pigpen sludge.

For years the leaders of the Federal Reserve have been assuring the public that there were on site examiners/regulators at all of the country's largest banks. But the regulators did nothing to stop the abuse. Were they clueless? Or did they allow it to go on to keep the foreclosure slaughter house open?

And to think Obama/Congress just gave the banking regulators, including the FDIC, even more authority under the Dodd-Frank Financial Reform Act. Seems like the more the government fails, the more power they grab. And the more power they grab, the bigger the failure.

The bottom line? The housing market will crash and burn even worse than it already has. Market values of homes? Watch for the prices to sink even lower as soon as all the forestalled foreclosures flood the market all at the same time.

Thanks, Washington, for taking such good care of an industry you bailed out and own part of.

Such a touchy, feely, hopey and changey job you have done at the expense of Americans everywhere, and Obama said he was going to clean up Washington.
