Did you hear Obama’s State of the Union (campaign) speech this week? Maybe you did, but I watched the first 5 minutes, and that’s all I could stomach. I turned it off after I heard the first reference to “fair share.” I wondered how long it would take for him to get to those two words, and it sure didn’t take long. Turns out he made half a dozen references to his favorite slogan, no surprise there.
But wait, shouldn’t fairness begin at home? An IRS report just out reveals that 36 of President Obama’s executive office staff owe the country $833,970 in back taxes. The Mr. Fair Share-hired-workforce hasn’t paid any taxes, much less their “fair share.”
These Tax Dodger Obama cohorts can’t exactly claim poverty as a reason for not paying their taxes. Reports show that the Obama White House staff includes 457 aides earning more than $37 million last year. That’s up nearly $4 million from the Bush administration’s last year.
More stats for your reading pleasure? One-third of Obama’s aids make more than $100,000 per year, with 21 being paid the top White House salary of $172,200 each. That’s an extremely high wage for anyone, lots of moolah, especially with 20 million Americans unemployed.
And there’s lots more “fair share” to go around. Turns out that the 25,640 U. S. Postal service employees owe nearly $270 million. Employees in the U. S. Senate and the House of Representatives owe more than $10 million. Military personnel owe more than $100 million.
The bottom line as reported by the IRS report is postal workers, congressional staffers, military personnel and federal workers, both active and retired, owe $3,420,168,684 in unpaid taxes for 2010. Yes, that’s over $3 billion. This is an increase of more than 3 percent over the previous year.
When Mr. Fair Share continually castigates the “rich” for paying exactly what the current law says they should, he sounds like an uninformed buffoon. He should concentrate on getting his own White House employees and all other federal employees to pay the “fair share” they currently owe. Collecting $3 billion in back taxes would certainly help in improving our budget picture.
Obama talks about wanting more tax breaks for the middle class. Well, I call this one HUGE tax break for federal employees. If you don’t pay your taxes, that’s a tax break. But if the rest of us didn’t pay our taxes we’d be sitting in front of a federal judge, bingo-bango. Turbo Tax Cheat Timothy Geithner should be instructing the IRS to go get ‘em, now! Oh, I forgot. Turbo Timmy is also a tax cheat.

LIMOUSINE LIBERALS AND THE "EAT YOUR PEAS" PRESIDENT
Double Dip Recession? Not according to the Limousine Liberals in the Beltway (that's Washington, D.C. for those of you in Toten Creek). Nationwide home prices have declined another 5% in the last year. Bankruptcies, foreclosures and short sales are rampant. Food, clothing and energy prices are soaring. Unemployment and under-employment are at levels unseen in decades, around 15-17%. Americans are in a world of hurt.
But what's happening in The Beltway? Home prices have increased 4.3% in the past year while bankruptcies and foreclosures are scarce. Wonder why? Well, the federal workforce in Washington has increased by a quarter of a million employees since 2008. (Queen Bee Obamama knows how to hire). All those worker bees purchasing homes, that keeps the beehive movin' and shakin'. Thank you, Mr. I'm-Paying-My-Political-Debts Obama. And according to USA Today, 1/5 of federal workers now earn $100,000 or more. That kind of helps you pay the bills, wouldn't you say? Hey, I just thought of a question for ya'll. How many of you make $100,000 a year? Not so many??
You must not have friends in high places.
The unemployment rate in the five counties closest to the Beltway? It averages less than half of the almost 10% the rest of the nation is dealing with, ranging from 3.9% to 6.8%. Isn't that just peachy keen? 10% of you are out of work, and Washington rides the Gravy Train -- literally!
In the last 2 years there has been a 73% increase in the size of the federal limousine fleet. I call that riding a Big Gravy Train. The State Department, that'd be Hillary and her friends (such as Anthony Weiner's wife), added 194 limos since 2008, increasing its fleet to 259. And this at a time when we have no money and are going broke.
But Homeland Security, including the Secret Service, has only 118 limos, 4 fewer than it owned in 2008. During Bush's last year in office the GSA reported the feds employed a minimal fleet of 238 limos. That's 238 limos TOTAL, for the entire government. By 2010 that number had jumped to 412 luxury limos. Oh, Mr. O., you sure are doing your part to stimulate the economy, thank you very much.
You wonder why The King is always golfing or vamoosing out of town on yet another vacation?
Because he's on a whooper-dooper of a spending orgy with your money. He thinks he's got a forever-green-money-tree, and he wants to raise the federal debt limit to keep you planting more seeds so the money-tree continues to grow green.
Here's a suggestion, Your Highness. Let your czars and potentates car pool. That's what you've asked us to do. Or better yet, sell the limos, take a cab, or a bus, or a train. Washington has a train system, in case you didn't know. BUT DON'T RAISE THE DEBT CEILING!
The Reality? You voted against "raising the debt limit" when you were in the Senate, yet this week you said we "ought to take off our band aids and eat our peas" and raise the debt limit. Seriously? It's hard to take your buffoonery seriously.
One other thing, Mr. Obaffoon, you said you have hundreds of thousands of dollars that you don't need. May I suggest that you give it to charity? Or maybe give it to the government? They really need it. Or hey, I'd like to start a business so I can put some people to work. How about giving it to me? If you don't like any of these ideas, then just go away and shut up.

WANNA SKIP THE RECESSION? GO TO WORK FOR THE FEDS!
The Washington Examiner has done a study of federal government workers versus private sector workers. They found that federal employees have seen a big increase in employment and compensation at taxpayer expense, while private-sector workers have not fared as well.
"For nearly two years millions of private-sector workers have made often painful sacrifices because of failed federal economic policies and skyrocketing federal spending and debt. But the opposite has been true for federal workers," The Examiner stated.
According to the article, beginning in 2008, federal employees earning $100,000 or more a year jumped from 14% to 19% of the civil service workforce of 2 million. (That's right, there are 2 million federal workers running our lives.)
In two years Washington has added around 100,000 new jobs, while more than 7 million private-sector jobs were lost. And private-sector workers are paying for it through taxes.
The Heritage Foundation reported that 4 out of the 5 jobs Obama claimed were "created or saved" by the stimulus bill were jobs in government.
Rep. Mike Coffman, R-CO, has offered a proposal to furlough all nonessential federal workers for two weeks next year and to cut the salaries of senators and representatives by 10%. But the House Democratic leadership has steadfastly refused to schedule a vote on the bill. No surprise. It's been 77 years since Congress voluntarily took a pay cut.
Fortunately, come November we will have the opportunity to remind them what it's like to be unemployed.
