POP (PISSED OFF PARTY) SOUNDS GOOD TO ME

CONGRESS EXEMPTS ITSELF FROM OBAMACARE
SOUNDS LIKE PELOSI, AFTER SHE READ THE BILL, DECIDED SHE DOESN'T WANT TO PARTICIPATE. AND NEITHER DOES CONGRESS, FEDERAL EMPLOYEES, THE IRS AND A MYRIAD OF UNIONS.
Obamacare: Congress Exempt From Affordable Care Act
For Obamacare, Congress exempted themselves from the Affordable Care Act in a deal arranged by President Obama. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the Obamacare implementation in California could be a disaster in terms of identity theft and fraud according to the California insurance commissioner.
Another study claims the Affordable Care Act could cause people to leave their jobs and even Unions are criticizing Obamacare. Recently, IRS workers unions said they wanted an Obamacare exemption. The rumor that an Obamacare exemption for Congress existed has been spread around by chain mails for years. This claim was shot down repeatedly by Snopes, PolitiFact, and others. Ironically, while Obamacare call center workers won’t get health insurance the Obamacare exemption for Congress just became reality recently.

You might be wondering, “How did Obamacare’s Congress exemption come to be?” While both the business and individual mandate for Obamacare has been delayed until 2015, much of the Affordable Care Act is still steaming full ahead, with state exchange signups beginning this October. This Obamacare stipulation would cause the premium payments of all government workers to skyrocket by thousands of dollars per year, not just members of Congress. Congress members in both parties fear this will cause a “brain drain” in Washington DC because they’d be forced to pay everyone more, which is unlikely under the Federal government’s budget crunch. The more likely scenario is that they might see an exodus of the most talented people finding better jobs in the private sector.

OBAMA 'S REQUEST- "I NEED ANOTHER $1.2 TRILLION IN FUNNY MONEY"
OBAMA’S REQUEST, “I NEED ANOTHER $1.2 TRILLION IN FUNNY MONEY” And funny money it is – being printed on the constantly running Federal Reserve printing press, and whatever isn’t printed is borrowed from China through the sale of worthless U. S. Treasury Bonds.
When Obama drags himself off the golf course and returns from his $4 million vacation, he will be asking Congress to increase the government’s debt limit by $1.2 trillion – again. This increase is the third step that was part of a deal approved back in August. The debt ceiling was increased $400 billion in August and $500 billion in September, and now $1.2 trillion will be asked for.
Now you would think there’d be a big fight in Congress over approving this increase. You’d think the Conservative Republicans would say hell, no, but you’d be oh, so wrong. The bill that was passed in August stated that Congress can only vote to block the debt ceiling increase with a “disapproval resolution.” This means after Obama requests the increase, lawmakers have only 15 days to vote it down. If Obama asks for the increase on January 1, Congress will have until January 14 to say “no.” But Congress will not be in session on January 14. They are in recess past that date. Oh, didn’t Obama plan this to perfection? Raise the debt ceiling now before Congress gets back to stop it. Isn’t he the clever one.
Once the debt ceiling is raised, the total amount Obama will be allowed to spend is $16.4 trillion. Want to know how bad this is? In eight years of the Bush administration our debt increased by $4 trillion. In the first 3 years of the Obama administration Obama has increased our debt $6 trillion.
So Congress can’t stop this madness. I’m not sure Boehner would have the guts to do it even if Congress were in session then. He’d probably flop, whine, whimper and waffle, and after a couple of weeks of press conferences he’d cave in.
Remember something, Folks. In over 1,000 days there has been no budget from Obama. He’s running the richest country on earth without a plan, a budget. No wonder he has to keep asking for more and more and more money.
How do we know how much he is spending? We don’t. How do we know where he’s spending it? We don’t – except when the government backed Solyndras of the world go bust. We don’t know because there is no budget. He’s the sorriest excuse of a leader to ever occupy the White House. Vacation and golf are more important than creating a budget, decreasing our debt, and getting our financial house in order.

Four more years of record spending, no cuts, no planned budget, raising the debt limit and passing Continuing Resolutions to run the country are the tools by which we will become Greece sooner rather than later. REP. MIKE KELLY TAKES CONGRESS TO THE WOODSHED WITHOUT A TELEPROMPTER
Have you seen this video? It's circulating the Web, but it's so good I wanted to make sure my readers see it. Freshman Rep. Mike Kelly (PA) tells the entire Congress what we'd all like to tell them - "The time is now, quit The Blame Game and do something to stop the dismantling of our nation through fiscal irresponsibility and regulation." He speaks for millions of Americans. Mr. Kelly is a Chevy/Cadillac dealer in Western PA, a businessman who knows what it's like to do business in an America hamstrung by regulation, taxes and no leadership.

I DO SOLEMNLY SWEAR --
“I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter; So help me God.”
This is the oath that our elected officials swear to when entering office. NOTE: It does not say that I will discharge my duties in favor of my political party while sacrificing my country. But this is what the Debt Reduction Super Committee has done. They threw in the towel on reducing America’s $15 Trillion Nightmare. But I expected it.
The problem, it seems, is the Democrats want to raise taxes by a cool trillion dollars. The Republicans have said nothing doing. The Republicans want to cut spending by a cool 1.2 trillion dollars. The Democrats have said nothing doing. Stalemate, bottleneck, deadlock, gridlock, standoff, face-off? Washington is at it again.
The appointment of the Committee was designed to fool us into thinking that something was going to be done about our massive debt. But how could they succeed? It’s an ideological impasse. Left-wing vs. Right-wing. These terms have historically been used to identify political parties, political positions or political ideologies.
Here’s the difference. Left wingers (Democrats, Progressives, Unions) believe that governments should focus on social justice and social equality and should intervene in individual’s lives to ensure that social justice and equality is achieved, no matter what it costs or who has to pay for it. They state that since every individual is not the same, government policy needs to be aimed at creating substantial equity for everyone. To the Left, substantial equity includes things like affirmative action, social rights, social programs, cultural parity, and unlimited government funding to achieve these objectives.
Right Wingers (Republicans and Conservatives) believe that governments are too big and inefficient, that governments are unwieldy, cumbersome and onerous, and governments should not interfere with people’s lives. Right Wingers believe that government interference impedes an individual’s right to liberty. They believe that the government and the law should treat everyone equally. To the Right, equality includes equal pay for equal work, the same civil rights for all citizens, limited government and limited government spending.
Hence, Left Wingers have historically favored “big” government and more spending while Right Wingers have historically favored “small” government and less spending, not to say there haven’t been “pretenders” in both camps.
The Democrats on the DSC were not willing to address much needed reform in social programs (Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid) without at least $1 trillion in job-killing tax increases. These programs comprise 40% of all federal spending and suck up more of the federal budget every year. There is no possibility of balancing the federal budget without reforming these social programs and cutting thousands of other useless departments and programs throughout government. But the Dems said no to any changes and/or cuts.
The Republicans were not willing to agree to revenue increases of $1 trillion but they put $300 billion in revenue increases on the table, achieved through tax reform. This was a huge compromise for the Republicans, but the Democrats said no, they wanted a trillion dollars in revenue without agreeing to spending cuts.
So if the job of the DSC was to “cut spending” why were tax increases and revenue enhancements on the table at all? Constitutionally the Debt Super Committee should never have existed. The Constitution clearly gives the House the power of the purse. Creation of the DSC strips the House of that power. It was unconstitutional and was designed to fail.
Here’s what the failure means for Americans. It adds to the uncertainty that’s stifling businesses. It reinforces the fear that Washington can’t resolve our debt problem. Our $15 trillion fiscal crisis is increasing daily. Future generations will financially suffocate thanks to this generation of politicians who are putting their party first and the country second. Congressional action is now effectively dead. Mr. Obama will blame Republicans as he continues his run for reelection. The Bush tax cuts will be a major issue in December 2012. And fundamental differences between the two political parties will become even more important.
Obama promised to halve the deficit by the end of his first term. He didn’t. Factually, the three largest deficits in American history (each over $1 trillion) have happened in the 3 years of Obama’s first term. He has spent the country into bankruptcy. He is responsible for the first economic downgrade EVER. We’re sinking into a financial abyss and all Obama can say is “It’s not my fault.” “The Republicans are to blame.” “It’s Congress’s fault.” If Obama really wanted the DSC to succeed why was he missing in action throughout their negotiations?
The most depressing thing, though, is that the $1.2 trillion target of the DSC should have been easy to achieve. It’s less than 3% of projected spending over the next decade. But this cut in spending would have had little effect on our debt. $1.2 trillion in spending cuts will amount to only about 12% of the projected debt INCREASE over the next 10 years. In other words, the $1.2 trillion in cuts are not real cuts at all. That figure is ONLY a cut in the projected spending increases. It’s all smoke and mirrors and lies.
I am grateful to the Republicans who held the line on tax increases and said nothing doing. Their numbers are small. Their only voice is in the House, but it’s a powerful voice. They did what they were elected to do. But unless they control the White House and the Senate, their ability to hold the line on tax increases and cut spending is limited.
If you want increased spending, increased government regulation and more federal programs, and ever ballooning debt you can vote Left in 2012. If you want to slash spending, slash programs, balance our budget, decrease our debt and restore fiscal sanity to our government, vote Right in 2012. There are 15 trillion reasons to seriously consider which direction you cast your 2012 vote.

GREAT BIG JOBS GOOSE EGG
Today in Detroit, MI, Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa, Jr. had some profane, combative words for Republicans and Tea Partiers while warming up the crowd for Obama’s “Let’s Put America Back To Work” speech.
"We got to keep an eye on the battle that we face: The war on workers. And you see it everywhere, it is the Tea Party. And you know there is only one way to beat and win that war. The one thing about working people is we like a good fight. And you know what? They've got a war, they got a war with us and there's only going to be one winner. It's going to be the workers of Michigan, and America. We're going to win that war," Jimmy Hoffa Jr. told a heavily union crowd.
"President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march. Let's take these sons of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong," Hoffa added.
And then it was Obama’s turn to address the crowd. And when he took the stage he said he was "proud" of Jimmy Hoffa and other labor leaders. Obama didn’t chastise Hoffa for his inflammatory “fightin’ words.” He didn’t tell him to speak more peacefully, to stop the threats and name calling, to end the political posturing. No, Obama went on to use the same tactics to denigrate Tea Partiers and the Republicans. Today Obama spoke not to Americans but to Labor Unions and workers. Barack Obama sees America as the United States of Unions, not the United States of America. Hoffa and Obama, take note. Union workers are not the ONLY workers in America. In fact, there are more non-union workers than union workers. Get it?
There is a certain irony in Obama speaking on Labor Day to Labor Unions about jobs creation when his policies created NO jobs last month and his big picture job creation policies are a big fat Goose Egg.
I listened to Obama today, something I seldom do because his empty promises and lies disgust me, but today I did listen closely to get a glimpse of what his great “Jobs Plan,” set to be announced in full later this week, will be. Know what I heard him say today?
First, I heard him imply that the unemployment rate is the fault of the Tea Party Congress and the Republicans. HUH?

The car that travels 25-50 miles on a charge, has no charging stations where you can recharge it, since Costco just closed the charging stations they installed 2 years ago due to lack of use. He must be talking about this amazing American car.
And then PBO said, “I am fighting for a chance to give our kids a better life than we had.” How ignorant of him. He must not understand simple economics. No jobs? How is any of this Fair?

Since taking office in January 2009 Obama and his appointed henchmen have imposed 75 new MAJOR regulations, with additional costs exceeding $40 billion annually. No other President has ever burdened businesses, individuals and our economy with a higher number and larger cost of regulations in a comparable period.
And a great many more new rules and regulations are looming. The spring 2011 Unified Agenda lists 2,785 rules (proposed and final) in the pipeline. Of those, 144 are classified as “economically significant.” With each of the 144 pending major rules expected to cost at least $100 million annually, they represent at least $14 billion in new burdens each year. This is the biggest reason the job growth rate last month was ZERO. Oh, fairness, how sweet it is.
And the most egregious thing he stated? He said “Democrats and Republicans worked together to give families a tax cut that is going to expire soon.” I believe he’s referring to the extension of the Bush tax rates that were renewed last year. But how short is his attention span? The Republicans were in favor of extending the Bush tax rates and Obama and the Dems didn’t want to do it. Remember the huge battle in Washington to get it done and the Democrats had to be dragged kicking and screaming to the table? Now Obamaliar is taking credit for “working together” in giving families a tax cut. And I can’t figure out whether this colossal idiot really believes his own lies or is just too stupid to know what he says is nuts.
Take a good look, America, it’s pretty evident the 2012 OBama campaign will consist of viciousness, name calling, threats, thuggery, lies and the “it’s not my fault, Bush is to blame.” Or better yet, “Congress and the Republicans are to blame.” He surely cannot run on his record of job growth, spending, lowering unemployment, economic growth, Obamacare, fixing the housing mess or uniting America. When a president has failed so miserably on so many fronts, all he has left is name calling, mud slinging and finger pointing.
The Obama job creation proposal this week will consist of the same pathetic plan – spend more money, run up more debt, tax the rich. He’s already flushed 80 billion stimulus dollars down the drain with ZERO jobs created. His “tax the rich” mantra is simply taking money already in circulation and redistributing it. He should face it! He has no solution. Government is NEVER the answer. Government is NEVER the solution. More stimulus = more zero jobs created. Remember, in return for adding nearly $3 trillion in federal debt in two years, we still have 14.9 million unemployed Americans, millions more if you count the underemployed and those no longer looking for work.
But I have a suggestion. Obama, are you listening? There is a great deal you and Congress can do to alleviate the job-killing consequences of excessive regulation, and the need for action is now. Remove EVERY regulation all governmental bodies have enacted in the last 8 years. Simply get rid of them, declare them not on the books. You know the power of the Executive Order, since you use it willy nilly. You can wave that magic EO wand and declare them Gone.
Then get out of the way and watch private industry, large and small businesses and Americans take off and save this economy.
"We got to keep an eye on the battle that we face: The war on workers. And you see it everywhere, it is the Tea Party. And you know there is only one way to beat and win that war. The one thing about working people is we like a good fight. And you know what? They've got a war, they got a war with us and there's only going to be one winner. It's going to be the workers of Michigan, and America. We're going to win that war," Jimmy Hoffa Jr. told a heavily union crowd.
"President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march. Let's take these sons of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong," Hoffa added.
And then it was Obama’s turn to address the crowd. And when he took the stage he said he was "proud" of Jimmy Hoffa and other labor leaders. Obama didn’t chastise Hoffa for his inflammatory “fightin’ words.” He didn’t tell him to speak more peacefully, to stop the threats and name calling, to end the political posturing. No, Obama went on to use the same tactics to denigrate Tea Partiers and the Republicans. Today Obama spoke not to Americans but to Labor Unions and workers. Barack Obama sees America as the United States of Unions, not the United States of America. Hoffa and Obama, take note. Union workers are not the ONLY workers in America. In fact, there are more non-union workers than union workers. Get it?
There is a certain irony in Obama speaking on Labor Day to Labor Unions about jobs creation when his policies created NO jobs last month and his big picture job creation policies are a big fat Goose Egg.
I listened to Obama today, something I seldom do because his empty promises and lies disgust me, but today I did listen closely to get a glimpse of what his great “Jobs Plan,” set to be announced in full later this week, will be. Know what I heard him say today?

SCARES THE HECK OUT OF ME!

And then ask yourself if the so-called Debt Ceiling Deal just passed yesterday and today by the Washington Wackos is really a good deal. Keep in mind that the "Deal" gives Obama the Spender an additional 2.5 trillion to spend up to 2013 (oh, yes, past the 2012 election - how stupid can the Republicans be?) And in turn Obama has to decrease his "requested" spending by 2.5 trillion. Oh, no, he doesn't have to reduce CURRENT spending by 2.5 trillion to actually DECREASE our debt. He only has to decrease his REQUESTED spending by 2.5 trillion. When all is said and done we will still spend trillions more, putting us in debt trillions more, just 2.5 trillion less than His Highness really wants to spend. How can approving a spending increase of 2.5 trillion and at the same time requesting a spending decrease of 2.5 trillion not be a wash? And don't start yowling at me about Bush did this and Bush did that and Obama isn't responsible for the debt. The fact is Obama has increased the national debt approximately 30% in 2 1/2 years, and with the approval of Congress, The Beat Goes On. The Debt Deal?? It's Absolute Insanity!

FORTY PIECES OF SILVER - OBAMA BETRAYS THE BRITS
Remember the big Obama push to sign the new START deal with Russia? It's the nuclear arms reduction deal that Obama, Hillary Clinton and The United Nations has called a "first step toward eliminating nuclear weapons" from the world. Oh, and don't forget about everyone in our Congress who signed onto this cockamamie gimmick.
When N. Korea, China, Pakistan, Russia, France and India all are armed to the hilt with nuclear weapons what makes our rattlebrain President, our clueless Secretary of State and the ever-diligent-always-looking-out-for-America United Nations think that any of the nuclear armed nations will "disarm?"
And then there's Israel. They are the smartest country yet. They refuse to enter into any ridiculous arms reduction treaties and in fact, they won't confirm or deny that they even have nuclear weapons. Sounds like a great way to keep the hounds from coming through the door. The hounds don't know which bone will be thrown at them if they do, so they don't.
And yesterday WikiLeaks published documents that show that the U. S. has agreed to give the Kremlin identifying information regarding the number of missiles the U.S. gives to Britain. Britain has long had a policy of refusing to confirm the exact size of its nuclear arsenal and the U.S. has refrained from disclosing this information to any other country. Britain is smart, like Israel. But the U. S. needed a "bargaining chip" to entice Russia to supposedly go along with START. I say supposedly because if you study the START deal, it favors Russia in so many ways. The Russians really snookered Obama, Clinton and Congress.
And this backstabbing, double crossing, underhanded betrayal by Judas Obama and Congress has sold out one of our staunchest allies. This Sneaky Pete maneuver will certainly cost us the loyalty of any other country we have heretofore considered an ally. Why would any country trust us now? We are the Clown in the Courtyard all over the world, the Sucker-punch Champion, and due to the last two years of preschool foreign policy, no country respects us. We can't be trusted when we sell out our friends and pander to an untrustworthy country like Russia. Take the time to study the historic relationship of Russia and the U.S. Decide for yourself how "trustworthy" Russia is.
Our greatest threat to U. S. national security right now? BHO, Barack H. Obama and his progressive band of demons currently running everything in Washington - and those members of Congress who timidly rubber-stamp everything BHO does. If they are so quickly willing to undermine our allies, how long do you think it would take them to sell out Americans, that's us??

THE SECOND AMENDMENT WITHOUT THE HYPE
Came across this video from 3 years ago. Texas State Representative, Suzanna Gratia-Hupp, whose parents were killed by an insane gunman while her gun was out in the car, gives very moving and bold testimony about the REAL reason that the second amendment was designed to protect our God-given right to keep and bear arms. The senator from New York, Chuck Schumer, was getting a little uncomfortable in his chair. The room was absolutely dead quiet throughout her testimony and the ban-guns-crowd was rendered speechless as she chews 'em up and spits 'em out. She knows what the 2nd amendment is really all about. She knows what her inability to conceal and carry her handgun cost her. Her parents lives. Watch it. You'll be glad you did. And pass it along. It's three years old but a very timely reminder of the true meaning of the 2nd Amendment. If someone in Arizona two weeks ago had been legally carrying a handgun, Loughner, the insane shooter, may have been stopped sooner. We are only left to wonder.

SLAP MY HAND CHARLIE
Charlie Rangel, 40 year Congressman from Harlem in NY. He just got reelected. Does that make him a Career Politician? He's 80 years old.
For over 2 years he's been charged with multiple House ethics violations. Finally, right after the election, of course, the House Ethics Committee finds him guilty of egregious ethical behavior. The activities that got him in trouble are very troublesome, including tax evasion and using campaign funds to pay personal legal bills. WOW! Another cheater in the House.
So what does the House Ethics Committee do? They "censure" him. Instead of expulsion, they slap him on the hand.
Expulsion appears in the Constitution. Censure does not. Censure is similar to a reprimand. It's a nothing penalty! It's a pass. It's letting the fox into the hen house knowing the fox is up to no good. Censure simply means Old Charlie will stand in the well of the House while the Speaker of the House rebukes him. That means Nancy Pelosi gets to take Charlie to task for his lack of ethics and honesty. The same Nancy who said "we are going to drain the swamp." Now Nancy, in case you haven't noticed, there is so much toxic waste in the swamp it's unlikely it will ever be drained during your tenure. That's because you are part of the pollution.
Now that the House has made their determination I wonder if the IRS and other agencies will investigate Charlie? You can bet they would if you or I or some other "commoner" were evading taxes. Anyone else would be looking at penalties, fines and interest.
This slap on Charlie's hand is a microcosm of the uncontrolled corruption in Congress. They never pay the price for their deeds. They just snicker and look the other way.

IRAQ SURPLUSES SWELL AS U.S. DEBT SOARS
It's 2003 and the U.S. invades Iraq and ousts Saddam Hussein. A heinous madman has been deposed, and Iraqis have a chance at freedom. Thanks to the U.S. and our military.
So what has this war cost us? Well, Folks, these are the facts.
Since 2003 the U.S. has infused more than half a trillion dollars into Iraq.
From 2004-2009 Iraq amassed a surplus of $52.1 billion, with over 92% of its revenues coming from oil exports, some of which WE import and pay Iraq for. During that same period overall U.S. debt soared as we ran huge deficits in every one of those years.
The U.S. has spent $624 billion in Iraq helping the Iraqis set up a democratic government. Sounds humanitarian, doesn't it? And wouldn't you think that since Iraq has a huge budget surplus they'd be PAYING us for our help? Or at least providing us with oil free of charge?

Our Government Accountability Office (GAO) has disclosed that the Iraqi government holds as much as $32.2 billion in cash on deposit at banks and financial institutions. The GAO stated in its audit report that "Congress should consider Iraq's available financial resources when it reviews the administration's fiscal 2011 budget request and future budget requests for additional funds to train and equip Iraqi security forces."
That sure makes sense, doesn't it? They have the money so why can't they COVER OUR COSTS or even PAY US TO BE THERE? Or send us home? Instead we are supporting billionaires while we are going bankrupt.
According to the CBO, the U. S. budget deficit exceeded $1.3 trillion for fiscal 2010, the second greatest deficit as a percent of GDP since WWII. The greatest deficit ever? 2009's $1.4 trillion.
Whether you believe we should have gone to Iraq or not, Obama's election promise was to end the war in Iraq and stop the bleeding of our resources. So far all he's done is ask for MORE money, and he's changed the verbiage of our mission there, going from "military mission" to "non-combat mission." But ask troops who are still there if their "mission" has changed.
Obama must think Americans are thick minded. That's a mistake he will regret in November.
And just so you know, I gripped at Bush about this situation also. Bush did the same thing, continued to spend money in Iraq while they gathered up a huge surplus. Both administrations are at fault. But Obama SAID he'd end it, and he hasn't. Bush never promised to end it.
So what has this war cost us? Well, Folks, these are the facts.
Since 2003 the U.S. has infused more than half a trillion dollars into Iraq.
From 2004-2009 Iraq amassed a surplus of $52.1 billion, with over 92% of its revenues coming from oil exports, some of which WE import and pay Iraq for. During that same period overall U.S. debt soared as we ran huge deficits in every one of those years.
The U.S. has spent $624 billion in Iraq helping the Iraqis set up a democratic government. Sounds humanitarian, doesn't it? And wouldn't you think that since Iraq has a huge budget surplus they'd be PAYING us for our help? Or at least providing us with oil free of charge?

GOV. CHRISTIE CLASHES WITH TEACHER IN NJ
Folks, I just saw this on Glenn Beck's web site at theblaze.com. Gov. Christies from NJ goes head to head with a complaining teacher. Watch this. It is outstanding. He says what we need the new Congress going to Washington in January to say, loud and clear. Click on this link and then look for the story. You can easily find it.
And don't go getting all bent out of shape because you think I am picking on unions. It is ALL spending that needs to be curtailed, in ALL branches of government. But this is a good start. Watch It! DemoBrats and the Blame Game
Did you notice in his speech yesterday that Obama continues to blame the Republicans for the mess we are in and accuses them of working for Special Interests?
Well, the big question is, who gave the banks all that cash and propped them up? Answer, Bush and Obama. But then, Who bailed out the car companies, housing, Freddie and Fannie, the unions and hundreds of other industries and who has driven our debt to bankruptcy levels? Answer, Obama. And who is going to increase EVERY ONE'S taxes on January 1, 2011? Answer, Obama. The January 1 tax hikes are going to be massive and will hurt every segment of our society. And Obama doesn't care. He has an agenda and the outcome be damned, full speed ahead.
And don't forget the DOUBLE TAX ON ENERGY PRODUCERS that Obama is proposing. You know, we have to "punish" the "rich" energy producing companies. Do you think Obama is smart enough to figure out that all those increased taxes to energy companies will be passed directly on to We The People by increased rates? Surely he knows this because he can't be that ignorant. When you buy gas for your car, heating fuel, electricity, or any of the millions of things that are "petroleum products," you will feel the pinch. Thank you, Mr. Obama. And it's not as if Americans have extra money to spend on increased rates. Millions of Americans don't even have JOBS, much less EXTRA CASH. Thanks again, Mr. Obama and your pals in Congress.
He's been the captain of the ship for 19 months now and he still doesn't understand that our mess is his fault. How can anyone not notice that he is a pathological liar? How can he say his new $50 billion bill will give small businesses incentives to hire, when at the same time, the bill is full of job killing regulations? His $800 billion stimulus bill didn't work, so why would a new stimulus bill work? Is he really that dumb? All I see is more companies leaving, taking millions more jobs with them.
He and the DemoBrats need to be stopped in November. If Conservatives gain the majority in both houses, then Obama will be shut down until 2012 and hopefully they can start to undo some of the damage he's done.
So I say to him, "Mr. Obama, Americans are disgusted with the "blame game" and with all of you. Based on your first 19 months we are terror-stricken thinking of how much additional damage you can do in the next two years. If you knew anything about being President, you would LEAD. Instead you just BLAME and SPEND and then BLAME and SPEND some more, and then BLAME someone else for all of it. November? That's when we shut you down. Good Riddance to you and as many of your DemoBrats that we can get rid of!"

DODD/FRANK PHONY FINANCE REFORM
2300 pages, that is the size of the Financial Reform Bill written by Barney Frank and Chris Dodd and their soldiers. So many words and so little clarity! Compare this bill to the Constitution of the United States (it created legal principles that have governed our nation for hundreds of years and have done a very adequate job) which originally contained only 4 pages. Four pages to run a nation and 2300 to run a bank? Give Me A Break!
So what does the bill do?
Well, first of all, the bill does not inspire confidence when Obama "thanks" two crooks directly responsible for the financial meltdown, Barny Frank and Chris Dodd. Oh, yes, they were responsible for drafting this monstrosity, and they were also directly responsible for orchestrating the collapse of our economy.
And guess what Barney Frank said after the bill was passed? "We won't know if it will work until we have another disaster." Boy, that sure elicites confidence, doesn't? The same people who got us into this mess don't know whether 2300 pages of regulation will work?
A number of years ago Dodd and Frank forced through legislation that required Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (government backed lenders) to give loans to borrowers who didn't qualify for them. Fannie and Freddie did a great job of this, in collaboration with community organizing groups like Acorn and community activists like Obama, and together they made sure EVERYONE could get a home loan. What did they care if the borrower could pay it back? The loans were all guaranteed by the government, so Fannie and Freddie were protected. And we are now paying the price for their idiocy.
But there's good news - not only has the Frank/Dodd bill not fixed the problem or punished those involved (Fannie and Freddie), but Obama had Frank/Dodd include within this new bill provisions for 20 newly created government offices to make sure that banks give a certain amount of loans to minorities and women and under privileged borrowers.
Sure sounds like what has led to the current financial crisis created when Frank/Dodd and the Democrats in Washington required banks to give loans based on race, creed, gender, status, anything other than financial ability to pay it back.
The new Frank/Dodd bill proposes to regulate "risky" businesses but does not define "risky." Oh, gosh, I guess the definition of "risky" will be left up to the White House and regulators sitting in an Ivory Tower somewhere in the bowels of Washington.
The new bill proposes to regulate businesses "too big to fail" but does not define "too big to fail." Oops, another decision made by a political appointee, another opportunity for them to "pay off" contributors and supporters.
The new bill is loaded with provisions that cater to the unions and special interest groups. It creates new funding and employment opportunities for community action groups like fraudulent Acorn. Could this be a "pay off" for getting out the fraudulent, illegal votes that put the Obama Horror Show in power?
It establishes a Financial Stability Oversite Council that will have the power to punish ANY COMPANY it deems too big to fail - not just banks. Bail-outs will no longer have to go through Congress and be approved by our ELECTED representatives. The President and Secretary of the Treasury will now get to decide, and BOOM, your company is history - it's now under government control. And YOU cannot stop it!
American farms will be destroyed by certain parts of this bill. Check it out yourself. Google it. Farm costs will skyrocket. We will have to import much more of our food from countries who do not have the same bans on chemical use or the same strict processing standards that we have. We won't know what we are ingesting or what's in it.
Oh, I almost forgot. The two business that were directly responsible for the mess we are in, Fannie and Freddie, are not mentioned in the Financial Reg. bill at all. Yep, that's right, they are exempt from all provisions of the 2300 pages. Wow, another payoff because Fannie and Freddie contributed heavily to the Obama campaign.
So what doesn't Washington understand? Unions, taxes, excessive regulations all contribute to stifling the economy. Jobs disappear, housing dies, and here we go again. With an unemployment rate steady at 9.6% we cannot afford more job loss, but that's what we will get.
Congratulations, Congress, you just took another step closer to complete irrelevance for you. And congratulations, Obama, you rammed another bill through that will further destroy the greatest country on earth.
2012 should be the REPEAL IT NOW year, and I can hardly wait!!

2010 Election Platform
I saw an email the other day that had some interesting thoughts in it regarding things the public would like to see in a bill introduced in Congress as soon as the power shifts from the traitorous sludge currently in office. I like the ideas and thought you would too. I have listed them below along with my comments.
1. Term limits:
12 years only, lifetime limit. Serving in our government was never intended to be a lifetime job.
2. No tenure/No pension:
Our representatives collect a salary while in office and should receive no pay when they are out of office.
3. Congress, everyone (past, present and future) participates in Social Security:
All funds currently in the Congressional retirement fund moves to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system. Congress participates along with the American people. How long do you think it would take Congress to "fix" Social Security if their retirement was contingent upon its solvency?
4. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do:
It makes no sense that we have to purchase our own private retirement plan and also have to pay for their retirement plan.
5. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise or any other benefits:
What efficiently run company allows the people in charge to propose and vote for their own pay raises, benefits, exemptions, etc.? What a nutty system! Congressional pay should rise by the lower of CPI or 3%. No more than that, ever.
6. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people:
No more Cadillac system for the Elites and something different for We The People.
7. Congress must abide by all laws they impose on the American people:
No more exemptions from what they force on us. If it's good enough for us, then it's good enough for them.
8. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/Senators are void effective 1/1/11:
The American People did not make any contracts with their representatives. The representatives made all of these contracts for themselves. Rather self-serving, isn't it? What a conflict of interest. No wonder they all lose their common sense when they arrive in Washington. It becomes a self-perpetuating job.
SERVING IN CONGRESS IS AN HONOR, NOT A CAREER. THE FOUNDING FATHERS ENVISIONED CITIZEN LEGISLATORS. THEY SHOULD SERVE THEIR TERM (S), THEN GO HOME AND GO BACK TO WORK.
I know many will say passing something like this is "impossible." But Congress has the lowest approval rating of any entity in Government in the history of this country. Americans are angry and the balance of power is likely going to change with the next elections.
Email, call or write your representatives, both Senators and Congressmen and demand that they introduce a bill like this in both Houses. Contact the campaigns of candidates currently running for office and ask them to pledge to introduce a bill like this as soon as they get to Washington.
